Ikea Variera Pot Lid Organizer, Stainless Steel, Set of 2

I bought this with the original intention of using it for my pan lids, but the tongs aren't tall enough and my lids kept falling. Instead I use it to hold my pans, and even though the tongs still aren't as long as they need to be, it does the trick well. I love how it can be expanded or shortened to fit the desired space.

Wow, never knew how much I needed this till I got my order. So helpful & so many uses that I'm ordering more. Got rid of my dish drying rack, added to a cupboard to hold sheet pans, cooling racks, cutting boards, etc upright, set on a silucone pacement next to my stove for holding multiple hot, drippy lids & stuck my oven mitts on it, too. And if you have a KitchenAid mixer, the spikes are the perfect size to hold the paddles, dough hook, whisk, etc upright & ready to use, or to dry after washing. I put them on there by the mixer to stay handy, and use the free spikes to hold my cookbook or tablet with recipes & videos and my small chopoing boards. I have anotger one on my desk to hold folders, pads of paper, catalogs, mail & bills. It's heavy enough that, combined with the silicone bottom feet, I can set it on a drying mat or my counter and put a 12 inch cast iron lid, or large pizza stone on it, and it doesn't tip or wobble. It rinses clean easily, the rounded tips don't scratch my cookware or tear my cookbook pages, and it folds up easily & compactly to fit in a drawer when not needed. It also stays open/closed to whatever size you make it, it doesn't slide open/closed on it's own while in use.

I was surprised how heavy/sturdy the accordion base is from my expectations. The vertical pins screw on to the base. All parts are solid. I had been wanting something adjustable to hold various sized glass bakeware. NOTE: This was not my original intent when purchased this item. But, because of its weight, I thought I would gave it a try for a while. It did handle it okay but bakeware is pushing the limits of what this can handle/designed for. And, over time, the weight of those leaning against the pins will bend them where they screw into the base. So I tasked it back to my original intent - to hold my small (9x12-ish) cutting boards, tupperware lids, pan lids, and some other miscellaneous items. My large cutting boards would likewise bend the bends but it works great (really great) for the smaller stuff.

Did not use for pots lids. Great for display rack for paintings at craft shows and packs up easily.

I was originally searching for one of these in order to dry my reusable bags or plates across the sink after seeing someone else do that in a review. Then I thought, how else could I use it? As you see in the photo we have limited space and the lids would slide around. I had to balance them carefully so they didn't attack me when I opened the cupboard. I started looking at measurements to see what would work then came across this one. I hate having to return things to Amazon because I didn't measure correctly. This item was perfect, I LOVE that it is adjustable. This allows for versatility and convenience. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble. I would highly recommend this item.

I purchased this for Sous Vide cooking. It simply expands AND stay in place. Regarding review by "Anon" I have NO idea how the "pegs could come off as it took me about 16-20 turns clockwise to attach each peg. YOU NEED HELP! Regarding "Linda Gaylos" review..how can you NOT get these to fit your lids? YOU NEED HELP TOO! I believe some people like to make cr*p up just because they have nothing else to do. I bought 2 sets; pen for my Sous Vide container, the other works great for our sauce pan lids. I will add photos later...

I purchased another organizer that was more expensive and it took up more room in my drawer and held less. It is adjustable to the depth of the lids and it doesn't matter what kind of knob is on the lid. I have lids of varying sizes. I can slip two small lids in a space and still have room for a larger lid. Simply put it. it holds more. I went from a 1.5 to a 10 for half the price. .

Ursprünglich ist er als Deckelhalter gedacht, ich nutze ihn jedoch als Rippchenhalter beim Grillen – und dafür ist er einfach ideal! Dafür braucht man nur die Gewindeabdeckungen aus Gummi durch M4-Hutmuttern zu ersetzen. Das Material aus Edelstahl ist hitzebeständig, stabil und hält die Rippchen perfekt in Position, sodass sie gleichmäßig garen. Genau das, was man beim Grillen braucht. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die leichte Reinigung: Nach dem Grillen lässt sich der Halter problemlos abwaschen, auch Fett- und Marinadenreste sind kein Problem. Zudem ist er super zu verstauen, da er wenig Platz benötigt und problemlos in Schrank oder Schublade passt. Fazit: Ein überraschend vielseitiges Produkt mit toller Qualität. Ob in der Küche oder zweckentfremdet am Grill – der Ikea Variera Edelstahl Organizer überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Schnelle Lieferung, einfach zu reinigen und extrem praktisch. I bought two, each is supposed to come with 14 of the little metal bars but one of the sets only had 13 so now there is an exposed screw and an unstable slot. Too cheap to bother returning, just thoroughly annoyed.
