SlipX Solutions Bottomless overflow cover adds water to the tub for a warmer, deeper bath (Turquoise, 4" diameter)

I have been craving a deeper bath to languish in but our bath is a corner bath so you can't stretch-out fully and the over flow is situated a few inches down from the top of the bath lip. I was worried that I might have to remove the chain to path through the hole on top of the new device, but I needn't have because I managed to pass the plug through it. Wow! it works perfectly, just as advertised. I enjoyed my first bath which was may be 3 inches deeper than usual, sheer luxury! Also no water leak through the seal either, so levels did not drop at all. Wonderful gadget which was worth every penny!

Honestly, this product is amazing. my heart sunk when I tried to have a bath in my new house, only to discover some dink had installed the overflow 2 thirds of the way up, meaning I couldn't even get the water to cover my belly. I bought this as a last resort, I don't understand how it works as it's literally only held on by suction cups, but it does work, the water wont leak out through the overflow and you can fill the bath right to the top. 20 out of 10, can't believe it works, can't believe how good it is. Brilliant product.

I'm in the process of fitting a new bathroom and the bath I installed, despite having larger measurements, is apparently smaller in water capacity as I was not fully covered in the new bath unlike the old one. Instead of ripping the new bath out I thought of blocking the overflow and found this. It works a treat, and the hole at the top is handy as your bath still won't overflow. I knocked off a star as it's not the most attractive thing, however thankfully as it works on suction you can remove it every time quickly and easily.

This popped up in my news feed as one of those "15 things you can't live without on Amazon". Out of curiosity I had a look and although it was from the American site, I was directed back to the UK and surprisingly, straight to the item... Yay! Previously, I'd always tried to cover the overflow with a folded flannel held in place with my foot, it didn't prevent the water loss but it slowed it down a bit, so when this drain cover turned up I was amazed at how simple it was and why nobody had thought of it before. Straight up to the bathroom, stuck it over the overflow (with the built in drain hole pointing skywards) and ran a bath. It was absolute bliss to lay in a bath with without the constant sound of the water escaping down the overflow, not to mention that the water now came to within an inch of the top of the bath, total immersion. The only downside is that you have to remember no sudden movements when the bath is that full, otherwise the bathroom will look like you've just launched a cruise ship! Anyway, we've tried it for a couple weeks now and the whole family thinks it's great. Definitely a must have accessory that every bathroom should have!

I recently moved to a house where my bath would barely fit a hobbit! Not good for someone who's 5ft 11! As soon as I got in bath, most of water would drain out of overflow, leaving me sitting in what felt like a puddle. This item came promptly and cheap to buy! This product has been the BEST thing I've ever bought! I now have a nice "deep"bath that I can soak in now, thanks to the cover over the overflow hole! You do need to be careful not to flood your bathroom floor though! Be sensible with it. It's easy to use and I just followed one of the other reviewers instructions by putting it in warm water first to soften it, to allow it to suction properly to the bath. It's easy to put on and very easy to remove! Sooooo much cheaper than some of the other alternatives! A FAB invention that means I can have a nice hot bath now!

Good product, doesn’t work excellently with my bath plug chain, which hangs down from the overflow drain, but it works somewhat :) It doesn’t quite work as good as the marketing suggests on my bath, but it keeps more water in than without it. It’s huge, bigger than I was expecting shockingly. Also I think it’s not flush because of my bath chain. I wanted to send it back but I was desperate for a deep bath so I gave it a try and I’m glad i kept it as I’m not sure I’d find anything better. Maybe the baths are slightly different in the country of its origin. I can imagine with the right sort of bath it’s an excellent product. It’s got great suction especially when applied while the bath isn’t too wet, but not a great seal with my bath as the plug chain hangs down from the over flow, which this gadget sits over, thereby impeding the flush seal that would form if the bath chain wasn’t there. Also you have to tear the packaging to try it.

Had first tried to come up with an idea on my own, when I realized I couldn't be the first with this thought, so went to Google for ideas, and up came Amazon, unsurprisingly, with this. Works exactly as expected, and covers the overflow completely. I have seen some reviews stating that the emergency overflow hole in this item prevents it from doing what it is supposed to do, but if you make sure the hole is on the top, you at least get a gain of 4 inches/10 centimeters. If I do that in my tub, the emergency overflow is about 1 cm lower than the rim, which is so high, that I don't even dream of filling it that much. If you have a tub, where you cannot accept that overflow hole, why not just cover it with some duct tape? The hardest to visualize from the item description, was the actual size, so I have added a few photos showing alternative perspectives, which might help you decided.

Amazing! I am a 5'10 tall average built guy and decided to take more baths to help me with recovery from the gym and also for back pain. Initially, my chest and most of my bent knees would be out of the water level! Not very good! I did some research and found this drain cover and was very skeptical at first. It was pretty simple to use, just place over the drain cover - even then I was skeptical as it was not an airtight suction pad. However, to my amazement this has risen the level of my bath by about 2-3 inches (maybe even more!!!) My chest and all of my legs are literally under the water level! Definitely, recommend this

Works great! I bought this one to replace one I have had for 10+ years and was a bit sceptical that a new one would work but it does and even better! the suction cups keep it in place so I can have a nice and safe bath. Might buy a third as a back up.

While I appreciate that my tub has a safety overfill feature to ensure my bubble bath water doesn't spill out of the tub, the safety overfill is too conservative in that it is placed so low that it means that the bath water level is, at maximum, 3-inches from the top of the tub rim. So unless you have a super deep tub (or you are a tiny person [read: not a regular-sized adult!], baths are far from luxurious "soakings". This product works amazingly well to allow you another 2-inches of bubble bath depth. This seems small, but for those who enjoy long, luxurious baths, this extra depth of water makes a significant difference to the enjoyment of the bath. Also, it is frustrating paying for really nice bath salts and other bubble bath products only to have that money literally flushed down the drain prematurely by the ultra-low safety overfill drain. My only regret is not discovering this product until now! Great purchase that feels durable enough to likely last a long time.

OH MY......I am the gadget queen of all gadget queens and when I tell you I have tried them all, I'm not kidding. This is the best gadget I have ever bought. WHY didn't I know about this before is beyond me. This one snuck by my radar. If this company wanted me to be a spokes person for them, I'd do it! I will admit that when I received this initially it looked like an eighteen wheeler ran it over. The cardboard sleeve it was suppose to be in was torn and the edges of this thing were all rippled. It looked cloudy and I really thought maybe it was a return. For $9.99 it was rough looking and I was thinking this was going to be a bad purchase. I then realized that the outer edges were not the part that sealed it over the fixture, it was the part just below the suction cups on the inside, so that made me feel better because I couldn't understand how the rippled edges would adhere. It also appeared to have a little crease in it and I was concerned that it would leak so I tested it out...I'M IN LOVE! I was completely submerged in my bathtub up to my neck for the first time. I cannot believe this works, if I didn't see it for myself I wouldn't have believe it. Two or three extra inches doesn't sound like a lot but trust me it is. It makes a world of difference. Only problem, I didn't want to get out of the tub. Also, no annoying noise from water going down the drain...nice quiet bath...ahhhhh! It is so easy to install and holds very well, if you follow the instructions. BEWARE of one thing....as the water in your tub starts to get close to the top stick around because it will overflow and it will be a "Fatal Attraction" kinda thing going on in there. I can't wait for my next bath. I will be curious to see how well it holds up over time. I really hope it does. If so ,I will order another one because I do not want to be without this thing now that I have tried it. It is so worth the money, at least I think it is for what it does. I did order the clear one, just goes with any color and actually can't even see it. I'm guarding this with my life! You'll love what this does to your bath experience!!!
