Sphinx, Mummies, Adeventure Oh My!
This is a fun set. Not too hard to build, but it has some neat little features, like the sphinx can stand and walk on its legs (well, not really walk, its not motorized, but you can make it walk). The mini figures are cool and the car for our intrepid hero is a nice build.

So much fun!
This was a set a looking for since I saw it on the LEGO site and was interested in getting it. If you like ancient Egypt, pharaohs, or anything along those lines this is a fun set to play with. Plus it has A LOT of moving parts (something that is starting to die out in the Lego world)

A very rare find for a reasonable price!
Arrived in pristine condition which is mind boggling to me quite frankly because I totally expected this to be second hand or something but the box looks absolutely mint. The price, though a tad steep, is actually reasonable for lego, and considering it has been off the shelves for 2 years, I was very pleased to find it at all!

Lego Pharaoh Rise of the Sphinx
My son was very happy to receive this toy. He loves Ancient Egypt. He was able to follow the directions clearly and constructed the toy almost completely on his own. Thank you.

6 year old loved it
My six year old loved it. A good challenge for him. He needed help with the sphinx, but put the other pieces together independently.

Wait for a sale.....
Pharaoh's quest, one of my favorite Lego lines of the decade (although being only 2 years into the decade that isn't saying a whole lot) Still, Lego dad is a big fan of these sets. I have the entire line for myself (barring one small item) and I'm going to start out by reviewing the worst set of the line. I purchased all of the Pharaoh's Quest (PQ) at full retail price. This was the only set that warranted me feeling unhappy for what I paid for it.The Good: The actual build is a lot of fun. Once it is complete it displays very well, and 2 of them look fantastic sitting on either side of the pyramid. I love the Mac McCloud Mini figure. Sadly that's all I can recommend here. The Bad: For MSRP of 49.99 you really aren't getting much here. If your collect the PQ line, this will be your 3rd car (yes 3rd). The play (or even display) features do not work very well. The toy has a bad case of the colly-wobbles. It sits down fine, but good luck in trying to stand it up. You get 2 normal mummies which while great, are still abundant in the line. Why couldn't Lego have made it 2 of the Anubis Guards (to go along with the Anubis head) and thrown us a bone here.Again, it's an interesting build, I would only recommend it if you can get it for a good clearance price. I would have been happy paying 29.99 for this set, at 49.99 I felt ripped off.

Great activity
This toy just like almost any Lego toy was very interesting to put together, it is also fun to play with. My daughter who just got it or her 6th birthday was able to put it together practically by herself with about 15% of help from me mostly for guidance and speed. However, she was confused why is the set called "The rise of the Sphynx" when the final assembly looks like Anubis. I could not agree with her more.
