Doesn’t work
I wanted a clear lip liner that could be used with any lipstick. This is rather white and doesn’t stop my lipstick migrating, so a waste of money

Works well with all colours of lipstick without leaving an obvious line. Perfect for the no makeup makeup look. I have been using the lip balm style lipstick and it tends to slide around a lot on its own but this clear liner keeps it from sliding off my lips.

I'll skip this one.
I honestly don't understand the great reviews on this one because my experience was completely different. This lip liner breaks and crumbles if you so much as LOOK at it wrong. 😂 The tip breaks easily, the product crumbles as I'm trying to apply it, and then I get little pieces of liner stuck on my lips and face. Apparently, my makeup routine needed a little exfoliation I didn't ask for. The packaging/appearance is okay, but it's not comfortable to put on. The applicator leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, it's inexpensive, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for here. A cheap lip liner isn't much of a bargain if you can't actually use it without half of it disintegrating. Maybe I got a bad one, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it. Super cheap? Yes. Super functional? Absolutely not.

Breaks easily, didn't really glide. Had to smooth out the whiteness with my finger.
The idea is right on, but upon first use, it broke. I don't know if it's because it's winter (even though I'm indoors so it's not like the pencil was freezing). I prefer a clear liner so I don't have to try to match my lip colors, but this one won't be purchased again. I might even return it. It's THAT bad. If it were a thicker pencil like my old ELF brand that would have worked better.

Perfectly Basic
This versatile product helps ensure a clean, sculpted result with any lip color. I'm not sure why more companies haven't thought to make their own, as this is all that's really needed for casual wear.
