My beloved old 25-year-old compact zoom binoculars "perished" and needed replacing. I tried a couple of similar ones, but was unable to focus them into a single image; I thought perhaps it was my eyesight deteriorating, and bought a monocular instead. It's ok, but lacks the depth of vision of a stereo image. When I saw these on offer on Amazon recently for under £30, I decided they were worth a try. And I'm so glad I took the chance! I found it very easy both to focus the image for each eye, and to see a single, stereo, image (which is so much better than the image from my monocular). Being slightly past my sell-by date, my eyes are perhaps not as high definition as they once were - but I find these binoculars give me a really clear, focused image. It was simple to set the dioptre adjustment, and altering the distance focus is super easy. The magnification is, for me, the ideal, providing great enlargement, but not so much wobble from my rather shake-prone hands as to spoil the image. The binoculars are not light, but not so heavy as to be a problem. The fabric case has a soft lining, and there are lens covers provided for all four lenses. The two larger covers are attached to the binoculars; and I've used a short piece of elastic to attach the double cover for the eyepieces. I do find that once out of the carry case, the lens covers fall off - but inside the case, they perform their function well, keeping the lenses clean, dust-free, and protected against knocks. The only gripe I have is that the binoculars claim that they can be fixed to a camera tripod by using an L-shaped adaptor - but I have been unable to discover how to do this, making the view rather wobbly unless I can find something to lean against ... A couple of friends - one a keen bird-watcher - have tried these binoculars, and were very impressed. One, like me, is usually unable to focus binoculars to give a single image, but to their surprise, they were immediately and easily able to do so with these. The other, wanting to view a distant bird from our garden but not having their own binoculars with them, was very impressed with the size, clarity and quality of the image - even more so on hearing the price! I would certainly recommend these binoculars to anyone wanting a really decent image for a sensible price.

Just taken up Bird Watching really quick to focus in at a distance, nice & light to carry. Strap could be a bit more robust.

The optics are ok for the money, but I cannot yet judge the robustness of the prisms and the long term performance. The 50mm objective lens may have been measured before taking the housing of the lens into account so its actually a few mil smaller. The claim to supply a tripod mount is misleading as no mount or bracket is supplied. The carry-case is ok for keeping the binoculars dry in average rain, but as a 'soft' case it provides no protection from drops and other knocks. Otherwise a good example for the price.

I have a pair of good quality Olympus 8x40 DPSI binoculars. I wanted to try out a set of "higher magnification" binoculars for occasional use so opted for these low price binoculars. One big problem... they do not have an actual view higher than my Olympus binoculars!!..20x compared to 8x should be fairly obvious but after very careful comparison I and several of my friends all agree that there is no difference. Also I have to say that the large diameter eyepiece was not very good for a spectacle wearer (as I am) allowing light from behind to cause distracting reflections on the eyepiece optics And my other gripe was the focus wheel was EXTREMELY stiff... however, I was able to rectify that with a small amount of 3in1 applied through the tripod mounting hole...whether this will be a permanent fix I do not know. I have opted to give these binoculars to some friends as they are generally ok so long as you consider them to be 8x magnification and do not wear specs. (I TRUST Olympus to be reliable in their specifications and they do match another pair of very small but same magnification binoculars that I have (8x 21mm) On the plus they feel comfortable to hold and the clarity of the image is not bad.... for £39. But my search for a higher power set of optics continues... PS- the Olympus binoculars are well recommended... but you are now looking at about £99 for these!!

Wow! These binoculars left a deep impression on me. At first I was skeptical about these binoculars. I am not sure if such a cheap price is accompanied by high quality. Because I have owned a Nikon 12x50 binoculars before, and the price is about three times that of these binoculars. Unfortunately, I lost it in an accident. This made me frustrated for a long time. But now I am happy again. This binoculars not only has a matte high-grade metal texture in appearance, but also has excellent optical properties. The clear and bright eyepiece with a large field of view brings a more comfortable observation experience. It’s equipped with a cleaning cloth, a small backpack and a neck strap. There is a small suggestion. If the neck strap can be thicker, I believe it will make me hang around my neck more comfortably. Anyway, this is a very cost-effective binoculars, I have recommended it to my neighbors.

Unfortunately my previous binoculars is damaged so I wanted to buy new one usually we are taking binoculars for Holiday specially for my son and wife they love to watch mountains and birds. Last week we went to Spain and this binoculars are very good crestal clear clarity. It comes early via Amazon services. Light weight and comfortable. Thank you Amazon. Love xx

Il primo acquisto era difettoso, il venditore a risolto veramente in tempi brevissimi. Il binocolo si presenta bene, linpugniabilita e buona, a tutto per il trasporto, lacci custodia, anche se sarebbe stata meglio una rigida, la visione è buona, facile e intuitiva anche l'utilizzo per i principianti, nel complesso un po' caro ma dopo 3 settimane di utilizzo (servizio antincendio protezione civile) mi sono trovato bene, acquisto consigato. Da tenere in considerazione le dimensioni che sono molto abbondanti.

Best you can get for this price! I use it since years and there is no end to it. For me the perfect mix of still mobile and handy with a great resolution for observations a far. I mainly use it for animal observation (game, birds, whales) ranging from a 100 meters to approx 2 km. Optimal range lies within a kilometre.

Grosses déceptions ! J’ai voulu suivre les bon commentaires et hop , je me suis fais avoir par certains qui exagéraient et ventait ce produits !!! En même temps à ce prix fallait pas s’attendre à grand choses, vue mauvaise et floue, mauvaise qualité, jeter aux fond d’une boite …
