PureBites Cheese Single Ingredient Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 16.6 oz

Our dog loves these and I feel good knowing its a simple ingredient! We started with the liver bites (which were recommended by our vet) and have gone on to purchase all of PureBites varieties including these cheddar bites and chicken bites. All of these treats are great for training and highly motivational for our dog. They can be easily broken up into smaller bites when needed and our dog particularly likes it when we stuff a bunch of them into Kongs and he has to roll them out. Because of the abnormal shapes, its more challenging that putting kibble in the Kongs and cleaner (for the rugs) than using peanut butter or wet food. We love these! Old English Sheepdog approved! Besides being healthy, these treats are a fantastic value - the largest sized bags last us for several months, even with a generous 7yo "trainer" in the house. They are the best value treats we keep on hand!

My dog absolutely goes crazy for these PureBites Cheese Freeze-Dried Dog Treats! They're the perfect size for training and rewarding good behavior. I love that they're made with just one ingredient - real cheese - so I know I'm giving him something healthy and delicious. Plus, they're super convenient to keep on hand. Highly recommend!

I have purchased this product about 8 times. The first three bags or so were great and perfect for training my dog. But each bag seemed to get progressively worse and declining in quality in terms of the ratio of cheese chunks to tiny shards of cheese. I was willing to put up with it because my dog goes nuts for this stuff but the most recent bag I received was the consistency of grated cheese. I will NEVER purchase this again. Save your money and buy something else.

My dog, who is fussy about his treats, loves these. I like them because they are healthy, plus they smell much better than his all-time favorite (lamb lung). Since he is a newly diagnosed diabetic, I have been looking for high protein treats like these, although they are appropriate for any dog. The only ingredient is cheddar cheese, which has been freeze-dried. Nutrition info from package: crude protein 40% min, fat 25% min, fiber 1% max, moisture 6% max, calcium 1.5% min (note that the meat-based Pure Bites have ~70% protein). The pieces are ~1x1" - 1x2" and this is a good size for my 100 lb dog, although they are easy to break if you need smaller pieces. Plus, they are made in USA. He likes these so well that I have started buying the larger bag, which is a better value.

I expected small pieces, but they are so small that a lot are just crumbs to be sprinkled on their dog food. I bought this with the purpose of using it as a high motivation treat, not for meal topping. If the pieces were bigger then they would not turn to crumbs in transport.

This is great for small to medium dogs. The pieces are on the smaller side and sometimes had a lot of breakage (we use it to sprinkle over food as a treat). Our dogs love it no matter how they get it, as long as they get it

Pup loves em! There like goldfish crackers for dogs! He’s going crazy over them which is wonderful! Finally a high value treat perfect size for training too!

I buy this whenever I see a sale. Otherwise, I buy freeze dried cheese trainers from a different brand. I find with the pure bites brand, the pieces aren't that consistent in size. Most of the bag tends to be crumbs or very small crushed pieces. This would probably be fine for a smaller dog, but it makes it a little more difficult to use for training a large or extra large breed dog. Usually I just pour the remaining crumbs on top of the bowl. Like a cheese garnish, which my dog loves.
