NOT THE COLOR ON MAIN PAGE OF AMAZON
Please note the picture. The “black” plate is the plate in this order. The gray plate is what I thought I was ordering as “charcoal gray”. I like the black plate and it looks good with the gray and the small gray plates and bowls I have. The 1st picture of the plate in Amazon is gray. Look at the rest of the pictures in the set. The actual color is the black plate. I ordered another set because they do go well with my gray set. My big plates are all chipped and I’ve been unable to find any plates that were even close in shape, color, etc. I just got this order so no idea of durability or sturdiness or chipping.

Gorgeous Matte Blush Color
I purchased the Fortessa Vitraluxe Dinnerware Heirloom Dinner Plate 10.75-Inch, in Matte Blush, Set of 4. They’re absolutely gorgeous! The color is beautiful, it’s not overly pink and has that elegant blush look that I adore. They’re heavy and just look like money.I’m not a “real adult” yet, as I don’t own a set of fine china. Nor do I care for the vast majority of the available China sets on Amazon. However, I feel that these plates are a good start. Note that I snagged these up as ‘Used Like New,’ so I only paid a fraction of the full price... But if I was going to shell out $55 for a set of 4 dinner plates, these would still be my 1st choice.I definitely plan on adding more of these blush beauties in order to build up an actual collection, in order to continue my pursuit of full fledged adulthood and all.BTW: These look stunning with rose gold and/or copper flatware! What a combination!

Gorgeous! Wavy lipped pasta bowls
Absolutely love these pasta bowls! They are a perfect size! I purchased the charcoal which are matte black. Gorgeous! Very durable/ slightly heavy.***read description! The lip of the bowl is wavy/ not perfectly round- which I love! It gives them a quirky and upscale look. I only bought 1 pack of 4- will probably go for the 2nd pack to have plenty on hand, (The $44 is a decent price/ of course I’d have loved them cheaper!)

Matte Charcoal = Semi-gloss Black
I ordered color charcoal in matte finish. I realize that “charcoal” can mean either black or grayish-black, and I was hoping for the latter in an actual matte finish. These are semi-gloss black. They seem to be good quality (haven’t used them yet) and I love the shape of them as they match the “hand made” aesthetic of my other dishes, but (as you can see in the photo I’ve provided with true matte black in the other dishes) they do not match as well as I would have liked for them to.

These mugs chip easily.
EDITED: Six months later - almost all the mugs have chipped edges with light handling. My decade old Fiesta mugs on the other hand look new. They are matte black (yes, the Charcoal is actually Black), have a comfortable grip even for large hands and stay hot for a while without scaldng your hands. They are also quite chip resistant. Because they are black, they do not show stains.I am back to buy other items from this line.

Love these!
These were quite a surprise! Loved the dark gray almost black matte finish! Feels like heavy stoneware! Let your guests make a mess, these handy dandy chargers could quite possibly collect all the messes! Except Harry’s. He’s always destroying the table!

Great value
I just got these bowls, but have been using dinnerware from this company for more than a decade. If they hold up as well as previous items the I’ll be happy

Lack personality
I was looking for a more homemade look, but the edges are exactly the same on each bowl so they lack that personality I wanted. Basic bowls, nothing fancy or a cut above. I like the stoneware feel of them.

Faux-handmade large shallow bowl
I have come to prefer large, shallow bowls for all sorts of meals. This clearly-machined, if uniformly wavy-edged, semigloss (not matte) black (not charcoal) bowl is useful and seems durable. It washes up nicely in the dishwasher. The price is a bit dear, isn't it, given they only very faintly remind you of handmade earthenware. One year later update: Chips white.

Very happy with..
The Fortessa Vitraluxe Dinnerware is everything I hoped it would be. I ordered all the prices in the set in various colours and I love the mix and match look. The finish is so smooth and the irregular edges give it the hand made look I wanted. Love it!

Smaller than I expected
Overall the bowls do look nice but they are smaller than they appear. Would prefer if they were 12 inches wide instead of 9.

Great quality and look
I received it yesterday. Very well packed. I ordered different colours to mix and match but the charcoal is much darker then the picture, almost black. I was a bit disappointed but it is nice too. The quality is very good, heavy and look resistant. The mat finish gives them a contemporain look, which I very much like as well as the uneven form.

Poor quality
Poor quality. Under normal use for twice, plates got grey cutlery marks.
