Worth the money
First, I read reviews before my purchase where people complained that the percentages don't add up to 100%. If they read instructions for 2 minutes they'd know that it's not supposed to add up to 100%. The manual explains that body fat%, muscle%, and water% overlap, especially muscle% and water% (there is a lot of water in muscles). Tip: read the whole manual as it has other important info too. The manual also explains it is more useful at comparing trends for your self than comparing your self with other people. I do notice useful changes and also it speaks to accuracy. For example I used scale after drinking 3 good sized beverages this morning and my water% went up quite a bit. It says even urinating can change it. The set up is quick. You enter your gender, age, height, and if you're an athlete or not. It can save multiple profiles and detect which person is on scale when you stand on it. It explains you must recalibrate it if you move it but that only takes 1 button and 3 seconds. The design is sleek and attractive. Only complaint I have is it doesn't store data anywhere but I use it often enough that I can remember most recent reading. It provides the following outputs: weight, muscle%, fat%, water%, mass of bones, and basal metabolic rate. In my first 3 days my muscle has been between 39.5 and 41%, my fat% between 16.4 and 17%, water% between 61 and 67.5% (I drink a lot of fluids), bone mass 8 lbs, etc. In other words it has been consistent for me, and the consistency is what makes this a useful tool rather than absolute values. (Really I should only use it in evenings it says but I've been using it 2x per day.) For example if my fat% was in reality 15.4 to 16% - rather than 16.4 to 17% shown on scale - it is same difference between the readings and shows if it's going up or down - the trends are what is important. In conclusion I think it's really cool and is worth the money for a scale 1/3 as much as others in its class. I'm glad I bought it bc it makes weighing my self everyday more fun and therefore I'll keep on it better. I'm trying to lose body fat with low carb and to see it go down a few tenths of percentage is motivating. As I lose weight I want to know if it's fat, muscle, or water.

From 2 star to a 5- Great product, great customer service!
*update* Changing my 2 star review to a five! After 10 months of dealing with a not consistent scale, I decided I would finally do something. So, I called inevifit...and left a voicemail. However, surprisingly, someone called me back the same day. After troubleshooting, we discovered that even though my floor is flat, the vinyl tiles were not hard enough and the floor was absorbing some of the weight and since the scale is so sensitive, it was not set on a solid enough surface. So, after taking it outside on concrete (He recommended concrete, hardwood, or ceramic tile)and having it work perfectly, I found an old solid wood shelf and put it under the scale in the bathroom. So now I can finally have the accurate scale I wanted-I only had to wait this long because I hate calling businesses, but I am super impressed with inevifit now. Kicking myself for not calling 10 months ago for fear Iโd get the runaround and no help. Old review- I was hopeful about this scale, but even after setting up profiles and calibrating and recalibrating, my weight was always changing. Before my eyes, and not just a couple of tenths, were talking several pounds. One day I calibrated it 3 times and each time, my weight went down by 2 pounds. Have no idea what could be going on as I have done exactly as the instructions have said. Today I got on and I thought we were good, but then I got on my plain old, but reliable, weight scale and I was truly 2 pounds heavier. Frustrating. I'm going to try messing around with it again, but I fear it's going back.

Good Scale, Questions about BF analyzer
EDIT 12/3/18: The scale started acting up- giving me variances of up to 5lbs daily (which is all but impossible). I contacted Inevifit customer service and they were outstanding. The co-founder took the time to call me after business hours and walk me through recalibrating the scale, which now works again. Added one start for great customer service. Package arrived on time and undamaged, and set up was simple. The weight portion of the scale is accurate, however I have my doubts about the BF% analyzer- it has me at 9% when I'm fairly certain I'm closer to 13%. I considered returning for this purpose, but figured I could still track my progress, and do it easier than with calipers and tape. In short, I can't vouch for the accuracy of the body fat analyzer (but you get what you pay for, right?), but am happy with my purchase.

I wanted to love this, but (updated review)
It's nice looking, does have some of the features like water analytics, body fat, etc. But for some reason kicks out an err 2 code after it reads my weight. Update: after writing this review, I was quickly contacted with an email. But I called them prior to this review I wrote. Anyways, they called, tried troubleshoot methods, and eventually determined since I was still under their FIVE YEAR WARRANTY, they'll just send me a new one! I didn't have to send back the old one either! Now I have an Eros scale and this is much better! I can actually get a steady reading with this the replacement unlike this one here. Any slight movement will cause an error or a sensitive reading.. fluctuating numbers. I like this new one better. I still can't get the other stuff to function properly (that's just me, not the scale), and I haven't utilized the app feature, but I still think it's a better replacement! Their customer service is awesome!

Good customer service, but not an accurate analyzer
As a scale, it's okay. It's 0.6 lbs different from another analyzer scale I own at a different residence. But as an analyzer, it can't be believed. Like the other reviewers, I called the customer service line, and got excellent friendly help - my fat percentage seemed way off. But the guy made excuses for the algorithm that runs it, and had me play with the numbers until it was the best we could get it. (I had to put an age 8 years older and a different height!) Now it says my body fat percentage is about 20%, which is about right. But it says my muscle mass is 50%, which is not even close. I occasionally use a $4000 analyzer they have at my gym, and it says my body fat is about 20% and my muscle mass is about 37%, which seems right. And my other home analyzer (body Analyzer 1) matches the numbers on the expensive one. So I think I paid for an analyzer and got a simple bathroom scale. *** Update 04-16-18 *** I didn't even get a decent bathroom scale. I bought this scale about 4 months ago, and now it reads my weight 4.5 lbs heavier than I am. I took it to work where we have several scales, all within 1 lb of each other. This one is way off now, though it used to be within 1 lb of the others. My other analyzer that I use at home, Body Analyzer 1, which I got as a gift around the same time as this one, is still accurate and gives reasonable body analysis numbers. I would never buy this one again. Responsive customer service for a sorry product does not make me happy. Now I have $43 worth of junk to put it in the dumpster.

Good product overall, worthless for measuring bodyfat
I Wanted to give this a fair amount of time before I wrote the review. I bought it at the beginning of a phase of calorie restriction, and now I am at the completion of my goal. I am a male bodybuilder, at 5'10" my weight generally ranges between 225-240 depending on the phase of training. Although, I was not expecting much in the aspect of tracking bodyfat %, as electrical impedance devices are notoriously unreliable and inaccurate. For this particular purpose, I found the same problem with this item. The overall product and quality is good, and as a digital scale, I am happy with the weight, bone mass, and water mass estimations... all of which seem to be reasonably accurate and consistent with the readings. Back to the bodyfat measurements. Now, I regularly test my bodyfat with skin fold calipers for a more accurate reading. I figured that the device would, at the very least when used as directed (always used at the same time of day under the same conditions)-- would show the continued progress that I was making. Honestly, it was not even good for this. To begin with, the percentage was always 10+ points over my actual bodyfat %. Although my actual recorded progress showed a consistent, continual, and progressive drop in bodyfat... the scale would go up and down by 2+ % points from one day to the next... but always more than double my actual measurements. In fact, It did not even show a drop below 20% (when I am currently about 9% actual) until my weight dropped below 225. Although I am no expert in digital scale technology, this would really suggest to me that the algorithms used utilize your bodyweight as part of the equation; as would be done by most doctors using the BMI. As far as I am concerned, this is really unacceptable, particularly for a device that has a specific setting for athletes. That feature was a big selling point for me, as it suggested --albeit mildly-- that the physical attributes for athletes are figured in, but clearly they are not. Again, if you are steadily changing your body composition, the device should be able to at least show the progression in the correct direction even if the number is not accurate, but even at that it was a failure for that specific feature. Otherwise, it is well made, and a very nice digital scale. However, If you need even a general idea of your bodyfat % have it tested at your local gym or university.

Best scale ever
Love this scale. Does so much. Programmable if you want or just jump on and see the days numbers. I like to know how much water my body has. This slim scale does so much. You will not regret your purchase
