Cable Matters® (2-Pack) 10W 2A Mini Dual-USB Car Charger in Black This is the 3rd time I have purchased this product. I am in 3-4 different vehicles over the course of a normal work week, and like the convenience of having at least one of these in each vehicle. I sometimes move the charger from one car to another, and have lost a couple in the shuffle.What I really like about these USB car chargers is that they have a very low profile. They plug in and are almost flush to the dash, which means I can charge my phone AND put a soda in the cup holder!These are reliable little chargers. There are probably others that charge faster, however, the price is right, and I like that I can charge 2 devices at the same time. Devices I have charged include Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Voyage, Nokia Lumia 1020, HTC One (Windows Phone), HTC 8X, Fitbit One, GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition.It would be nice to have an LED on the charger to indicate status.

Traveling forgot USB charger, stopped off at truck stop and they wanted $19.99 for one of these socket chargers and refused to buy. Immediately got online and order 4 and when I got home, put one in 3 cars and RV I own. They work perfect

This is a great deal for people who want/need two dual usb car chargers. There is nothing fancy about them, but they do get the job done as expected. At only 1A per plug they are perfect for most phones that can only draw that much power, and if you believe what you read about phone batteries dying earlier due to quick chargers this should help keep those batteries healthy. These are definitely much better than the cheapo ones you can buy at most stores these days. No weird smells either.Pros: Cost and quantity. They fit flush and don't protrude obnoxiously like some chargers do.Cons: Quality. I don't expect these to last for a long period of time, but I could be wrong (and there are two of them so...)

Feels sturdy

I specifically needed a cig adapter that did not put out more that 2 watts for an older cell phone that couldn't take more power than 2 watts. Amazon was the only source. Works fine for low power required phones.

REVISION 6-22-18....So my original review below mentioned the two issues I had. I'm leaving it for reference.The good news is that Cable Matters customer service got in contact pretty fast and shipped me new product that completely addressed both issues. Thanks Candy!The newer product version is longer by about 3mm which now makes correct contact in my Marinco - style marine grade sockets. The photo below shows the newer CM charger with the old. They are also now measuring output at 5.2VDC which is perfect. These now are exactly what I wanted, low profile dual outlets that fit snug in a socket, don't loosen (critical on my motorcycle sockets), and can't beat the cost.I have to speak to the extremely high level of customer service from CM, they wanted to make this right!(Original review.... Issue #1:. One of the two measures 4.95 VDC output, the other is 5.02 VDC. Some things need to have minimum 5.0 VDC to correctly charge.Issue #2: This charger is a little short, it's not making contact in the socket bought here previously "Marine Grade" which is a dead on copy of the Marinco, or they come from the same factory. Regardless, this Cable Matters unit is a bit shorter then the RavPower I bought here previously which does make good contact.It's visually shorter.I was OK with the lower specs then the RavPower for my planned use for these at the cost, but the fit problem and low voltage issue kills it. I had emailed Cable about the voltage thing before I found the fitment problem. I have multiple sockets on boat, car, motorcycle...Most are the Marinco type.)

I initially posted my concerns over the product. In a day the seller contacted me noting this must have been a defect and kindly offered to remedy the situation. With this in mind I am increasing the raring and adding this intro, as there is good support and care behind the product so it is likely this was an anomaly. The concerns over my individual defect are below. I’ll post an update if my second unit has issues. 1. I wanted the best flush fit for one of my cars so I bought two different brands to try. The concern with this item was the pin can only travel about a millimeter or two, so the chance of the unit sitting flush was lower. The other one I bought was the Amazon pick called “AUKEY USB Car Charger, Flush Fit Dual Port”. It wasn’t a two-pack and per unit was more money I think. That one had much more travel in the pin and as a result sits much closer to being flush. 2. I still used this one in my other car with my iPhone 8 Plus. After only a couple of weeks it stopped working. At first I thought it must be the cable, but I traded the charger out with my other charger and everything worked, so it was this unit that failed. 3. When I swapped out the charger I found that it was not only broken, but was very hot to the touch. Since my port stays powered even when the car is off I’m very thankful that it didn’t drain my battery. Maybe this was an uncommon defective unit and since this was a two pack, I’ll switch to the other (but never leave it pushed in unless it is in use) and I’ll write back if that one has issues.

I love these! Most USB chargers now have an LED light that stays on 24/7, helping to drain your battery. Many also stick way out of your dash, getting in the way or being prone to being hit and broken.These solve both of those issues -- low profile, so they sit basically flush with your dash, and there's no annoying light when you plug it in. Win/Win!

Funzionano molto bene. Ho acquistato questi non solo xke 2 e con 2 prese usb ogni uno, ma che una volta inseriti rimangono a filo accendisigari, permettendo di chiudere il cassettino/posacenere. Cosa che con gli altri impossibile xke troppo sporgenti

Endlich ein Adapter ohne nervige LED, der bündig in meinen Zigarettenanzünder passt. Praktisch, dass es sich um ein Doppelpack handelt für den Fall der Fälle, falls einer mal kaputt gehen sollte. Mein iPhone 12 wird problemlos geladen.

Quería un adaptador que me permitiese cerrar el compartimento donde se encuentra el puerto de 12v sin problemas. Con estos adaptadores lo consigues.Queda casi a ras del propio puerto de conexión del mechero pero se puede sacar con facilidad una vez que se ha introducido.Por el precio que tiene el par... Creo que está genial.

Great output amperage, and a lovely fit that is almost flush with the socket so I can close the cover flap with a Kia. The fit is tight, so it stays put when pulling out cables.Excellent quality and great output for fast charging. Used mainly for a wireless charging pad, which it does easily.Recommended.
