Very easy to use adapter. Ive used mine multiple times and never had an issue with it. There is no need for a chuck key as you simply insert the drill bit and turn to tighten, so unless youre using thise massive industrial sized drill bits, id argue that most everyday bits will fit easily. Tightening it is as easy as it could get. And i find the Quality of this item to be perfect

The chuck arrived on time. There were no instructions of any kind. The SDS shaft obviously screwed into the chuck body but there was a screw in the end of the shaft that seemed to serve no purpose. It turned out that the screw had a left hand thread so might possibly assist in tightening the shaft into the chuck body. In use it was difficult to tighten the chuck onto the drill bit adequately (large drill bit - 12mm) so it tended to turn within the chuck whilst drilling. I doubt if this would have been a problem for small size drill bits. All in all a reasonably priced chuck to allow use of standard drill bits in an SDS type drill.

This little keyless drill chuck has officially become part of my DIY adventure story! I found a drill at home with no drill bits, it was an SDS drill, and until now, I didn’t even know what SDS meant. So naturally, I found a ‘great deal’ on drill bits on Amazon… only to realize they didn’t fit because, surprise, wrong attachment, not SDS. As an independent woman who solves problems by learning from my mistakes, I bought this keyless drill chuck and voilà! Now I can use all my regular drill bits on my SDS drill. It’s basically a life-saver, a money-saver, and a problem-solver all in one. If you ever find yourself in a ‘DIY oops’ situation, this little hero is exactly what you need.

l loved te idea ifa chuck but very disappointed you can't tighten it properly the drill slips round and could be dangerous
