I had a ivy plant I began from a little pot in an arrangement I was sent for a celebration. I have kept it for years and it grew until it was too large for its old pot in my office. I wanted a pot that was attractive but not too expensive and one that would take care of my ivy plant well. I purchased the Self Watering Planter Pots Window Box 5.5 x 16 inch with Coconut Coir Soil based on looks, but once I got it I saw how easy it was to assemble, loved that they cared enough to put in the soil which I mixed into my regular potting soil with a bit of granular fertilizer to give it a boost and bingo .. it was in my office looking great! And with the self-watering system, I no longer have to remember to water the ivy (which I do with ice cubes so it gets watered slowly as it melts). Great product that is nice looking and quite effective in helping me with my growing plants. I am now going to look for more sizes of the same type of pot for my other plants.

I wasn’t sure when I ordered it if I would like it, but now that I’ve used it some, I absolutely love it. This planter is perfect—it is just what I needed for my windowsill herbs. The instructions were very helpful (okay dont judge me but it took me longer than I care to admit to realize the instructions opened up like a booklet.....not just front and back lol) all pieces fit together well, and it just looks nice! I’ve been much better about staying on top of watering when I can visually see when it is low, which helps me not be so worried about the plants. It was also really great to have the coconut disks included! The rounded corners and clean lines make it look super nice in the kitchen, too. This planter was an affordable and simple to use option for a beginner indoor grower like me. I tried to think of constructive feedback, but honestly I can’t think of any. I’ve had no issues with the product and it works great!

It’s thicker than expected so it seems sturdy. It looks nice too. I really appreciate the water level.

I purchased this because I was going to be away for 10 days and didn't want my beautiful Mother's Day plant to die. It was easy to assemble. This worked out perfectly. My plants were in perfect condition when I returned home.

It’s lightweight and seems pretty sturdy, which is what I was looking for, but the only downside is the instructions were a bit limited. The instruction booklet did come in English and German which was cool, but they were very limited, making it difficult to figure out what specifically went where and how it worked. I was able to eventually figure it out, I think, but not overly thrilled with the manual lol Other than that, it’s compact, aesthetically pleasing, and super easy to place almost anywhere.

Perfect size for window shelf.

Love this planter box. I took out the inner box so it would be more roomy for my snapdragons.

- Great design: looks very modern and fits well with my "Scandinavian" style house interior. - Good functionality: I really like the clearly visible water level indicator so that I need not worry about the plant dehydrating (or being overwatered) - Colour: I like the neutral white finish (goes well with the Scandinavian theme described above) which blends in well. - Construction: Although the material is a little thinner than I would have liked it is still fairly strong and I am not worried about it warping or losing its shape over time. - Packaging: Good strong support inside the recyclable cardboard box - Instructions: Simple but clear instructions on assembly.

Just started the 16" self watering plant pot. It's great. Looks good and fits nicely on the window sill. Perfect for simple indoor growing year round. Really like the water gauge to show how much water is available and when you need to add more. Simple.

I write this review after receiving my second long planter, as I was immensely happy with the first one I bought. I have also previously purchased their 7inch self watering pots and have been very happy with them as well. They are easy to assemble, the white material is easy to clean, and they look great anywhere I place them indoors. As my juvenile plants start to grow, I will be purchasing more of these self watering planters as required. Whilst I didn't use them, the coconut coir discs supplied were a nice bonus from the company.

The self watering plant pot is a great product, it has made gardening so much more easier by not having to remember to water the plants everyday. It is also very easy to change the water when needed and top up where needed. The water level indicator is also a great idea.

Planter looks nice and a pretty good size. A little pricey but quality seems fairly good.
