Power System Analysis and Design, SI Edition

This was a required text for a graduate course I took. The book is average with lots of PowerWorld examples, but is rather wordy and long-winded. I have tried using it as a desktop reference at work, but have a very hard time using it to find specific answers when I need them.Bang for the buck: If you want hands-on activities with PowerWorld, this book provides good narrative to the examples that come with the free version of the software. If you need to write your own code, Grainger & Stevenson is more compact and focused.

One of the best book out-there for Power System.The materials are not that easy to get, you need a professor to break it down for you.

Some pages, at the final chapter, are not with the same quality of the rest of the book. These pages seems few legible, a little erased.

Case Studies, Examples, and PowerWorld software provide great insight into the Power Industry and ease the transition from classroom book problems to real life simulations and calculations.

The textbook came within the estimated shipping time at purchase, and the book is in perfect shape, as described at purchase.

The cover was ripped when I unpacked the book, and that is for me a really bad thing, as I am a book lover. I was extremely upset. But the book content is awesome, I like it a lot.

Great book. Most of the things I wanted was included with examples. Bought this after researching (almost) all the books available on Amazon. Satisfied with the decision so far.
