Awesome!
Bought as a gift for my fiancé, he does homebrews and wants to dabble with kombucha. He loved it! It said something about a koosie for it but we didn’t get that. Late entry from my hubby: *** My fiancé got me this mini keg for Christmas, and man, is it sweet. At 128oz, it’s the size of two growlers, so it’s absolutely perfect for a handful of people on a camping or snowboarding trip. It’s very easy to assemble and clean, and the craftsmanship is top notch. The parts all feel and look and function like professional-grade brewing equipment. It’s compatible with a wide range of CO2 cartridges, and is quite intuitive to use once you’ve charged it and used it for a couple of beers. It’s also a fun conversation piece, and is bound to spark interest with friends. Overall, I’m super stoked on it. Easiest 5/5 I’ve ever given, considering the quality, function, and price. It’s a steal. *Also, I noticed a review on here that said it doesn’t fit in a fridge. I have no issues with it fitting in my fridge, even when fully assembled. Not all fridges are created equal, I guess...*

Excellent quality
I LOVE this growler/mini-keg. I had another pressurized growler but getting it to consistently hold the CO2 was a pain. I burned through a number of cartridges on a number of occasions getting the cap for the CO2 cartridge to hold without leaking but this mini keg works GREAT. It may not be as compact as some you see but moving some shelves in my spare fridge to accommodate it was well worth the effort. The cartridges last for two or three refills (if you remember to shut the CO2 off before you try to refill!) and, so far several weeks later, everything has worked perfectly. It may not have the "sex appeal" of some other pressurized growlers but I'm more into function and I like the looks of this one anyway. Addendum: I LOVE this growler so much I ordered a second one for occasional use when we are staying out of town at a place we go frequently to vacation. However, the regulator that came with the second one was flaky, showing pressure rising even when the regulator hadn’t been touched. Further, when the pressure exceeds a certain level, the regulator is supposed to release pressure to keep it at a reasonable level. THIS regulator, however, didn’t work correctly so I returned it to Amazon in an exchange for the same thing. The exchange was flawless, the new product arrived in a timely fashion, and the regulator functions as it should. MORAL OF THIS STORY: Buy this as a Prime offer and check it out when you get it. If the regulator isn’t right, exchange it. No worries - no drama. Still love it.

Mini-keg keeps craft brews fresh and fizzy
I've wanted a growler for years, but I never bought one, because I can't drink a half-gallon of beer before it goes flat from repeated openings of the bottle. I thought "Wouldn't it be great if somebody made a CO2-pressurized growler and tap?" Well, naturally somebody did, and here it is. I was really pleasantly surprised at the very high quality of the engineering and manufacturing of the components. The stainless steel "mini keg" looks like the real thing, and gets lots of stares and compliments. But the magic is the pressure-dispensing system, which consists of several parts precisely CNC machined out of solid ingots of stainless steel, to the level of precision and finish seen in aerospace parts of high-end smartphones. It all screws together with machined (not stamped) threaded fittings and O-rings. Simply screw in a standard 12 gram CO2 cartridge, screw the assembly on top of the little keg, and presto! Your own craft beer tap. It comes apart for cleaning, and should last for years. Every die hard craft beer fan will love one of these, as long as it fits in your fridge. I bought a 30-pack of CO2 cartridges to go with it: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AB3DQEW and they were well made, too.

Works Well - Instructions Could Use Some Improvement
First, I like the keg. I used it this weekend at 10,000' elevation. Apart from a user error, I had no major issues with the keg, perhaps a couple of minor ones. To start, this is a great way to transport kegged beer. I'm also delighted by the tap - it threads onto my stainless steel growler, too! A 16g cartridge is more than adequate to dispense the gallon and a half of beer at the altitude mentioned above. The tap and regulator are easy to disassemble and clean after use. My problems with the tap are first, foamy beer. I may have been the cause since, knowing I was going to transfer the beer from my 5 gallon Corny kegs to the smaller kegs for transport, I overcarbonated them, perhaps too much, and had issues with excessive foaming. The instructions could have prevented this, although I may have to claim responsibility for it. An issue with the equipment itself, the tap handle is VERY sensitive! Be aware of this or you'll be squirting beer all over. It takes practically no force to move the tap so be warned. From an engineering perspective, the regulator and CO2 cartridge hanging out on the "spear" could be an issue if the keg is knocked over or falls. But I'm satisfied with the unit. Positives (and the keg has a lot of them): - Easy to disassemble and clean - Tap can be threaded into most stainless steel growlers - Makes transporting kegged beer easy - Easy to chill - Keeps beer fresh - Works well at altitude if pressure is set correctly - Relatively light weight Good product overall, some slight issues.

Okay, so I took some time to thoroughly go through all the features of this system and boy does it deliver!! Keep beer quite cool, solid design and really well made parts. Now I purchased the 128oz keg and I found it didn't quite fit two 64oz Growlers it was pretty close so unless the brewery over filled the growlers not sure what to say without doing some more testing with measuring cups. Either way that wasn't a deal breaker. One thing and really only thing that is less than ideal is the use of threaded CO2 cartridges... Not the easiest to come by out side of Amazon and quite pricey. Over all does just what it says, keeps beer super fresh, system pours well (with a thick rich head) and adjustable. One sparklette seems to last forever. I really love this mini kegerator!! Worth every penny

Has nice quality parts and its compact size fits into the fridge. Double insulated tank is much better than others. Beer tap does not have a locking mechanism, but a strong elastic band attached back to the regulator will help keep it from activating if bumped while in transit. Very happy with purchase, and hope to significantly increase beer consumption with it!

Was looking for a small system to keep my beer cold and pressurized. Too much work to bring a 11 gallon keg to a small gathering and was looking for an option other than growlers. This ticketed all the boxes. Great quality, easy to use and so nice for those days when you want a few cold/crisp ones at the park with friends.
