Is the incense supposed to smoke or am I putting it on the charcoal too quickly? I waited until the charcoal was gray but it's still smoking a lot.

Accepted Answer

First, light up a piece of charcoal till its ready. Second, put a small quantity of this bakhoor and it will be enough. It is not efficient to use large quantities at one time. If you put small quantity, it will burn for a while and stop (30 to 60 seconds) then,  remove the brunt one and add a new batch on the same charcoal. 2 batches are enough in my openion to give pleasent scents according to the area.

How long is the burn time?

The burn time for the Bakhour Incense depends on the unit of heat.  It burns faster on coals (round coals used for burning incense), in a matter of 2-3 minutes; I do not recommend this method.  If burning on an electric heat source, place on the lowest setting, and it may burn for 8-12 minutes.  Again, the burning time varies.  However, the aroma last for hours, if you do it right.....nice and slow:).

How many are in a single pack?

Single pack is 1 (one) 40gm Bakhoor that can be further divided into 9 small pieces each of which is meant to be used one-at-a time.  However you can use less or more depending on your preference.  Rather than burning the entire chunk, some prefer to break the bakhoor down to a powdery form and sprinkle on top of a burning/hot charcoal.

how many boxes are they for that price is that for the 24 packs which is the 2 by 12 let me know I want to buy some

There 12 boxes which are 40 grams each. Each box has a slap of 9 piece sections. If I may, I like to add this based on my opinion. I have spent massive amounts of $ on buying Bakhoor of all kinds. This is the only one that I will ever buy for the rest of my life if they keep making it the way it is. It's a decent aroma, won't choke you to death, very pleasant light on the nose and lungs.  Reasonably priced. Even my 80 years old mother took few with her after visiting me. Hope this helped you folks.
