Traditional Chinese painting colors will not bleed when painting is mounted
These watercolors are pigment combined with glue. They are transparent except for the stone colors in green and blue. They are excellent for Asian brush painting and will not bleed when rice paper paintings are wet mounted. They mix well and go on smoothly. The palette is the classical color set, great for making traditional paintings or modern ones.

Excellent for Chinese Brush painting
This is a wonderful set of colors. I use them for Chinese Brush Painting and they are the perfect consistency. Our teacher uses this brand and her art is amazing! These paints came wrapped in bubble wrap inside a bubble envelope. No crushed box! I wish all sellers would pack so nicely!

Good!
Got these for my mom and she loves them for her Chinese brush painting. Colors are bright and work well with the thin rice paper used for traditional Chinese painting.

Mid-grade watercolors
The paint is grainy. There are tubes of blue marked as different colors, but doing a paint swatch has them looking the same There aren't names ames to.the colors. As a long time painter I'm used to standards like ultramarine blue, sap green, yellow ochre I'm not happy with what I bought but missed Amazon's return window. Professional watercolors of good quality are difficult to find but also not very affordable either
