Derby Basketweave Commode, Toilet Chair for Home or Clinic Use, Bedroom Commode with Bucket in Wicker Chair

I bought this with some misgivings as I read several poor reviews, but I am very happy with the product. It is sturdy, comfortable and reasonably pleasant to look at. It can double as a chair from vistors which is a considerable advantage.

Having recently injured my right thigh muscle and unable to put weight on it for a couple of days, I scanned the net once more to look for the optimum solution to go pee during the night.On top of a reduced mobility due to a neurological condition, it is the 3rd or 4th time over the 2-3 recent years that I have had injuries preventing me to walk to a toilet at night.Having tried a sheewee type system for women that is tricky to use sitting on the edge of the bed or even worse, an adult nappy, what a relief to find this chair!!All the commodes out there are so ugly and 'medical' and.... worst of all, depressing but THIS, what a lovely little chair..! The sad part is that it is so pricey and to my opinion overpriced but the cost of a stress-free life for me is invaluable and this chair will probably last me a lifetime.And if I ever get too tired one day to trek to my bathroom at night, this will be my life-savior every night...And when not in use, what a perfect and cute little chair for my teddies and shawls in my bedroom. And no one would ever guess it is a commode...!

I have 2 of these commodes and the design is pleasant and less obvious as being a commode. Lightweight but sturdy and comfortable to use.

Wow. What a piece of furniture. It's discreet, fashionable and very practical.

This was for my mum who's terminally ill. In her house the look is down stairs. She up and down all night. So myself brother, sister decided to get her this seat.She loves it and has made her life a little easier now. She likes the fact when she has work men ect come in, it just looks like a normal chair in the corner of bedroom.She didn't want one tht was obvious to what it was. Like she said she would feel embarrassed 🙈 . Though she has know need too.Would fully recommend.

I disagree when people say it's flimsy, it isn't. But, I am a size 16 woman and it is very snug. Can't imagine that anyone larger would fit in espescially when it comes to wiping oneself. As for the bucket, I tolerate it. Would prefer a conventional round one with normal round lid. Having said that, the commode is okay and is well made. Looks ok in the bedroom. Don't let yourself be put off by bad comments.

Nice quality and hides away it’s purpose well, for a commode it really is a nice piece of furniture, well impressed!

Very sturdy chair Comes all together ..no fixing with screws etc..Looks like an ordinary chair when not in usePerfect for the jobBit expensive but well made

Habe den Stuhl meinen Schwiegereltern bestellt, er wurde sehr schnell geliefert und ist dazu noch ein super SITZPLATZ . Die bedienung ist einfach und unkompliziert und er kommt gut an. Wenn man nur eine Toilette hat, die dann mal länger blockiert wird ist es ein super ausweich Klo.

Muy pratico para personas seniores que tienen su dormitorio lejos de su banero o que tienem dificuldade de mobilidad. Aconselho!

Cumple el objetivo como inodoro pequeñito, tapa facil y facil tranporta para vaciado. Fácil para sentarse y levantarse y buena estética.No le he dado las cinco estrellas por tener el remate de las dos patas traseras con el haro de sujeción del respaldo mal terminado, aunqué este detalle puede ser solo a los ojos de expertos.

aber für grössere "Popos" etwas zuschmal, ich habe mich vom mDesign leiten lassen, aber die Qualität ist sehr dünn und der ganze Stuhl auch sehr leicht. Wenn man eine Person von 60kg draufsetzten muss, rutscht der ganze Stuhl mit, das geht gar nicht.Also steht er nur noch als Deko in der Ecke.

Der Stuhl kam leider mit einem gebrochenen Bein bei mir an, musste also zurückgesandt werden.Ich habe ihn nicht nochmals bestellt, da er insgesamt recht "gebrechlich" wirkte.
