Q: how to measure for glove size?

To find out your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure across your palm. S/M is 8"-9", L/XL is 10"-11"

Q: Where are they made? i just got off the phone with isotoner. sadly, they are all made in china. no thanks.

I just looked inside my Isotoner gloves and the tag says they are made in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country located below China and is not a part of China

Q: Is there any chance that I could get a metrocard out of my wallet while wearing these?

I think so. I put my bus pass in a clear plastic pocket that's on the front of a small coin purse, and I can take it out wearing these.

Q: Your size chart gives a different hand width than the answers to various customer questions. Just what are the correct sizes?

IMH opinion, the size chart is correct. I purchased the S/M and my hand measures around the knuckles 7 1/2” and a closed fist measured 8 1/4”. Really good fit.
