So much fun to watch
I first discovered this show on PBS and watched it every year. It is such a nice change from the American contest cooking shows where everything is so faced paced and full of fake drama. Here everybody is having fun and being nice to each other. I can watch these over and over again and never get tired. The hosts are very nice, and funny too. What can I say about Mary Berry but that she is an absolute delight and just such a sweet person. Paul Hollywood has his little act going where he tries not to crack a smile and keep a stern face but in the end he is always full of advice and quick with a joke. And if a contestant does really good they may actually get a rare Hollywood handshake. The first thing you will notice when the contestants get ready to bake something is that they get a few hours to cook unlike the American shows where they make it APPEAR that they cooked everything in a half hour at breakneck speed. You will also see that the contestants are given the recipes for each challenge and allowed to practice their dish at home first. During the American shows they hide the recipes from site. From what I have heard they also stop the clock and let them cook.Such a great show to watch, with friendly hosts and contestants alike. Buy one DVD or all five and sit back and enjoy the show. You will not be disappointed.

I love this show so much and was sad when these seasons were taken off streaming services. I had to have them and they worked perfectly!

HEAVENLY Watching!!
What a great show! Hubs and I both enjoyed watching every episode and getting to know each contestant through the course of the programs. And Mary Berry is true class! Paul Hollywood became a characiture as the seasons progressed, but guess someone has to be the villain in these things.Big question: WHEN will more episodes come available????

US PBS GBBO set
this is an excellent series well presented. these are the seasons shown on US PBS stations. note: to watch them in true date order, watch season 2 first (UK season 4), then 1 (UK season 5) and the rest.there are still 3 earlier seasons that weren't broadcast in the US and so far not available on dvd.you can't go wrong with this set. highly recommended.

No good for this zone
The DVDs came from America. I checked before ordering to make sure they would work in this area and was told they would. received an email confirming that was the case. When they arrived they would not play. Not very good considering I had made asked about the area codes and been told the would work. Went out and bought a cheap multizone DvD player so we could watch them
