Barns swallows kept trying to build a nest over my car and splattering mud everywhere over my car. We put this up in a better place and they sealed up the divot with mud and moved in in no time. Enjoy watching the clutches of birds hatch and grow up. Easy to install and good value to not have my car splattered with mud!

There was a pair of barn swallows scoping out nesting sites in my horse barn and I bought this to lure them away from less convenient/more dangerous areas. They moved in right away and seem to be happy with the nest!I would prefer if the board were nicer-looking, say a pine appearance instead of that rough composite plywood look.As an FYI, the tag on this says it is as a martin nest, not a swallow nest, but my swallows don't seem to know that!

I made the mistake of listening to my dad and knocking the swallow nest down after they migrated. They came back this year and they clung to their old spot starring us down with an, "I know what you did last summer!" vibe. So I bought this and put it up. They were so happy. The first thing they did was patch up the hole. They didn't like that part. They forgave us and they already have babies. I would recommend this. A little hint, I put a little dry hay in it and some on the porch and they used it immediately.

What’s with the hole? As the product tag makes clear, this nest was made in Germany for the House Martin (Delichon urbicum), a bird we don’t have in the states. It instructs that the nest be installed up against the eave of a roof, thus the hole. Will it work for our barn swallows? It may but the swallows will be the ones to decide. If you want barn swallows to nest, it’s probably better to buy the similar product without the hole.

Works like a charm. Put it up and the next day the barn/house swallows moved in.

Sono economiche quindi la qualità non è eccelsa ma sono fatte bene. Suggerisco di montarle sotto una copertura o di chiudere la parte alta altrimenti ci faranno i nidi solo i piccioni.

Reçu rapidement mais reçu cassé le nis est fixé au suuport par 2 vis avec chevilles qui s'écartent donc et ont cassé le nid que j'ai dû recoller et bricoler pour qu'il tienne, dommage que ça n'ait pas été vérifié avant l'envoi

Non riuscivano a fare il nido per la mancanza di pioggia, dopo qualche ora sorpresa!! Sono più che felice
