ADJ VFTR13 Stage and Studio Equipment Case

Got this in time for Halloween, we've had the VF1100 for over 5 years, and its still running great after all these years, ... albeit, just lightly used maybe once a year max! But with the timer, it'll be a lot easier to have the display just setup outside without having to manually set off smoke for the scene we're planning on. The controller doesn't mention that it'll work with the VF1100, but on the VF1100 page listing, it mentions that it'll work with the VFTR13 controller, and it certainly does :) I can set the interval down to every minute, and up to 20 seconds a run (not that the VF1100 manages that!), the minimal setting is 30 minute intervals

Being used to cycle the fog machine for halloween. Was able to get it to consistently cycle the fog bursts to keep a consistent flow through the chiller.

I purchased this because I couldn't source one locally. It was a good price and works well

Like others, I thought my timer function was broken, which was the whole reason I bought this remote. I turned on timer, set the knobs, and waiting a couple minutes but it never blew fog, even though both the continuous and manual buttons blew fog seamlessly. I went to return it but got to reading other reviews first, and one reviewer said they had to just leave it set on timer for a few minutes before it started working. So I turned timer back on, waited about 6 or 7 minutes, and suddenly it started blowing fog according to how I set the 2 knobs. Just what I was hoping for! It worked perfectly for Halloween night. So in the end, after needless confusion on my part, it would have been nice to have a simple product manual that just says "after turning on the timer button, you may have to wait up to 10 minutes before it begins to function." But there was no manual at all.

I wanted to keep a light haze of fog in my business. This did it perfectly with our ADJ fog machine. The controls were easy to set up what I wanted.

First off, no instructions come with it. There are 2 ports on the fog machine and it comes with 2 plug-ins (Manual button and Remote Control button). So you have to plug this “timer” into one of those two slots, but which one? I tried both inputs for the timer and then asked a tech savvy friend to try, and neither of us could get it to work. I have not yet informed Amazon or the manufacturer so hopefully they will do the right thing and send me a new one. I will let you know how they respond.

For the DMX, it is actually a 5 pin XLR, not a 3 pin (which is annoying because almost all devices this would be useful for have 3 pin). Bought a adapter to see if it will work well with
