I buy these plastic cups because I use them to melt coconut oil to use for an oral rinse (oil-pulling). I set the cups in hot water, with the oil in them, and they hold up nicely. They also hold up for several days of regular toothbrushing and mouthwash use. I've used them for quite some time, and never had a problem with cracks or leaks.

We love these for bathroom use - great for swishing out after brushing teeth, grabbing a quick drink of water before bed, etc. Not paper so they don’t breakdown when liquid stays in them (leak proof). Stow away easily under the sink for storage.

Enough cups to last my husband and I for a long time! They are sturdier than paper and can last more than one sip of water! I like the plastic cups better.
