This is an outstanding set of books. Have been made available at a very reasonable price. Understandably, the average quality of paper, printing and binding have kept the cost low. Considering the monumental work done by Prof Shrivastava, the author, perhaps the publisher could also consider bringing out a deluxe version of the series at a somewhat higher price.

This is best...have almost all famous bandish of hindustani classical music and various with staayi and antara system...along with swar lipi notations.... If you want to know basics of indian classical music then...purchase the Raag Parichaya series...these series are just awesome....will immerse in the deep ocean of hindustani classical music knowledge...such clear explanations ..you will understand the minute and precise details ..whicha guru will explain you...worth purchasing the raag series
