Very capable of doing the job
I used this Ethernet cable to run from my wifi router to the wifi extender next door (about 75 ft). I ended up direct burying it because the substantial connectors couldn't fit thru the 1/2" PVC pipe I bought for the job. I think it should be fine as is because the cable seems durable and was actually cheaper to buy than the PVC pipe. When all was anchored and hooked up it worked great. Internet speed with the cable seems much faster and more reliable than trying to broadcast a wifi signal that distance.

If you need to run ethernet a long long way
Irony: Amazon wanted me to rate this wired cable on its WiFi signal...now the review. As a believer in using wired over wireless, I found the need to run some more when my wifi mesh did not overcome my building materials (i.e. my house- which is mostly wood studs and sheetrock) shocker the super wifi quickly dissolved in signal strength passing the mere 65 linear feet to its next mesh neighbor so I'd lose the internet anytime I tried to download anything.Enter the Cat6 outdoor cable which I ran out my office and around the house to a studio I had added on.Why not run the cable in the house, you might ask?Because it is a pain in the tuckus that involves a lot of drilling, pulling, cussing and re-pulling with a lot of things that can go wrong. Also, I am single.(no one to complain about the unsightly black cable strung around the house)This cable did great, right up until I realized I had bought more than I needed.I looked down at the 150ft spool of extra cable and said: "Who Am I?"No one answered.I live alone although my dog gave it a sniff and wagged her tail."I am a Tech Nerd!" I declared although I might have said "Man" insteadSo I cut that cable and splice in a good old-fashioned 8 pin plug with a hooyah!( I mean after spending 2 hours looking at other newer ways to do the plug)Then I ran the rest of the cable from my office to the TV Room (on the outside) so 4 drill holes and about 40 cable clips later, I grabbed a cold one out of the fridge and observed why I am such a keeper.I have 1GB internet speed in-house instead of my paltry 65MB Wifi. Now Tool Time can have me on (except they'd call me a nerd)

Great ethernet cable!
I used this to get internet to my shop, from my house, and it worked great. The quality of the cable is good, the ends are nice and most importantly, it works! I did have to run this alongside about 150ft of 240vac single phase power, and the shielding seems to be protecting the signal from electrical noise. I've had zero issues.

Great cable for external use
What's the difference in a cheap LAN cable and this one? About 200Mbps. My speed dramatically increased after replacing the old, defective, cheap cable with this one. Very rugged cable. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the cheap one did.
