Explore your family tree and heraldry
A beautiful introduction to heraldry. As I am venturing into genealogy (and have been for a few years now) I am also learning about the coats of arms for each of my bloodlines. This book is amazing, beautiful in description and imagery.

Excellent introduction and overview
On a recent museum visit I felt my complete lack of knowledge of heraldry meant missing out on appreciating the significance of the shields and flags on display, so I resolved to find a book to give me the right level (for me) material. The illustrations are all excellent and really make the subject come alive.

Please note that this is not new content but is re-packaged from his "The Complete Book of Heraldry". If you don't have the earlier book then fine: the information is good and well presented.
