Just for starters I would like to say that I have a LOT of professional gear. I own many all tube amplifiers from USA made hand wired vintage Supro's and Dr. Z amps to UK made Laney and Marshall heads. Guitars are custom shop Gibson 1959 reissue Les-Paul's, custom shop Jackson one of a kinds, even vintage G&L's. Quite a few more. This is not my first rodeo.This piece of equipment is perfect in every detail. It is truly a desert island piece of gear. It does almost everything. Best of all, it does it very well. It is a modern day classic. The sound is so smooth and no setting is unusable. I cannot say enough about it.I will not be using this in front of an amp. That is not what its made for. This is a direct to front of house, direct to interface or direct to power amp with a FRFR speaker set up. That is the way to use it and in all aspects it delivers exactly what you want. It is not trying to sound like something. Other things will try to sound like this. It is it's own animal and it is ferocious.The clean and dirty channel switch seamlessly. It is so satisfying. When you go from clean to dirty (water to fire) you cannot resist the huge smile that you feel.Buy it. Just buy it. Now.
