Cooler Master CMA-CEMB01XXBK1-GL 24 Pin 90 Degree Adapter (with Build-in Capacitor)

This product is great and helped my build keep the huge power cable to the motherboard hidden. I liked this route instead of getting sleeved cables. My pic isn't the best example, but it does hide the cable very well in my case and doesn't get in the way of anything despite how tall it is. Seems to be built well - feels strong, but this brings me to the only bad thing in my opinion: it's a tight fit. Installation is very strait-forward, but it will be a lot harder to uninstall as the fittings are very tight both to the motherboard and the cable to your PSU. When I first installed it I pushed the cable into the adapter maybe too hard since it's so tight and my finger slid off and the edge which split the tip of my finger open hah. Be patient if you are installing/removing this from the motherboard. Even tho this item poked a hole in my finger I'd still recommend it if you're looking for ways to make your build look clean.

Adapters like this aren’t always needed and this one won’t necessarily save you space, but if you’re not into using cable combs or have cables that can’t use them this is a more elegant solution rather than making the typical 180 degree bend. Additionally the added capacitors, which shouldn’t be necessary on most systems, can be seen as an added benefit to prevent heavy malfunction when running your rig off of a more sketchy power grid. Given the price difference I’d say having the extra capacitors is a valuable trade.

Great simple product from Cooler Master, been a huge fan of their simple yet intuitive items. First off, the entire thing is plastic. Light, but the build quality is great, nice and sturdy. It could be considered a tad bulky in some build situations, but this is minor and could be a necessary part of the design to house the connections and capacitor while maintaining the subtle design. I don't think it is a one of a kind item, but it definitely looks cleaner and more professional than the other 90 degree adapters I've seen. The 'Built-in Capacitor' is definitely a nice touch if you're just looking for something extra to help with power fluctuations and a premium feeling build. It has a warranty, thank you for this Cooler Master. In short, it helped me in my build because my cables were like barely too short coming from behind the motherboard and that put some strain on everything that I did not like because they had to wrap all the way around. It alleviated that and made everything fit in my case perfectly by allowing it to plug in from the side instead, this also put the cables out of view threw the side panel cleaning up my cable management a bit.

Guys it is entirely possible this little device saved this entire pc build from being completely fried. Not long ago I built a rig for someone a fairly custom 1 off at that BUT. I have several things working against me in this case one of witch is directly my fault. I build and work in a less than sound environment there is heavy moisture in the air witch is bad and ad to that the electricity down here is BEYOND unstable any little thing flickers the power down here any time something turns on or off or even switches power fazes in the house directly translates to a power flicker in this room you can understand how that's not ideal for sensitive electronics sometimes the flickers would just blink the system other times completely reboot it. but there is little I can do about my environment its the only space in the house I can work in 3rd I foolishly purchased a less than reputable power supply for this build something I normally don't do but I had some specific ideas for this build that later changed. finally after a power flicker the system shut down and wouldnt reboot or power back up in any way it took some doing to get it to come back. I'm convinced all these factors led to me nearly burning out the mother board possibly the whole system as it is several power headers are fried and I'm still trying to determine if any of the ram was damaged or just the rams slots hopefully just the ram slots. I thought the CPU died for a secant to. but I'm am firmly convinced I would have lost every component in this rig. as it is the mother board still functions......mostly. I will be replacing it however just to be completely safe for the person that is actually going to be using this machine as well as the power supply. as you can see from the pictures above there is no way a standard 24 pin plug was making it into the mother board I used the cooler master and a cy lower profile 90 degree adaptor in a horse shew configuration I would have used two cooler masters but they rise up to high for this build ( I WOULD LIKE TO SEE COOLERMASTER COME UP WITH BOTH A LOW PROFIL AND A HORSE SHEW SINGLE PIECE CONFIGURATION) I would use them. and if they ever got the wild hair GPU and CPU 90 degree power adaptors I would buy them especially the CPU nobody makes CPU adaptor at all that I can find at all. after this experience i will be investing in some UPS devices something ells I should have been using all along as well PS know your cases and mother boards or bring your own Dremel. You'll need it if you don't make sure they pass directly over the grommet hole

Works as described. I connected two together to be able to fully hide my 24pin cable. As other reviews have stated, these are somewhat large. They will be fine in most cases, but if you have a "wire bar" like many nzxt cases it may not work. Its got a great rubberized black finish. Would be nice if it came in white.

couldnt open it without forcing to remove the caps but found caps inside the sleeving on my atx cable anyways so i guess thats happening. fits well, you would need another in this style to make a u turn, the cheaper versions still dont offer enough length and it puts pressure on the socket. im not paying for two at this price so one and a bent atx cable worked.

My only complaint is that it is so hard to get it off, just to get it off the motherboard in general for the angle it goes at (which ironic because that's why you're buying it). I had to remove my graphics card in order get a screwdriver to get the pin off to get the adapter off the motherboard and then it was hell to even try to get it off the psu cable in which case I couldn't, it's either a pro or con depends how you look at it. Took 2 stars off for the hassle to unattach it (save the pain till if you ever switch motherboards or cases) and the price for just a simple adapter. Pros: - Looks decent. - Capacitor. Cons: - Price. - Bulky. - The pain to unattach it.

It's not as slim as the pictures lead you to believe but it does clean up the cabling. The wiring is almost always ugly and this cleans it up. Over all the product works as advertised so I'm very happy. I recommend this to anyone who has a build with a glass case. Easy to install, and looks really good. Very happy! 5/5

Does the job, makes cable management a lot cleaner. The additional built-in capacitor is a welcomed bonus. Kinda wished they made a differentiating appearance as you can see can't tell if it has the capacitor or without.

Great product, exactly what i needed, it looks nice and functions as described, highly recommended.

Queda un poco más alto de lo que debería, eso en términos de estética, desde el punto de vista funcional cumple con su función, ignoro si desde el punto de vista de ingeniería podría quedar un poco mas bajo, la calidad de los materiales es muy buena, vamos que no da la sensación de ser material de baja calidad y le aporta una mejor estética al equipo.

Si entro de inmediato, y facilito más el acomodo de cables, sin tanta tensión

Good build quality. And simply does what it says. Only problem was it didn't fit properly with Corsair 4000D unless I permanently remove the cable hiding panel in front right side of the case, or bend the power cable to an extend which I'm not comfortable with.
