Is a trash
Don’t buy this. Ice buildup followed there new instructions but still not working. The door is make with a really cheap plastic. I try to screw tight the handle but the plastic hole is broken. So what happen is there is no way to install the handle. The door is not even and aligned when I got his item. No matter how I try to aline it is still not even and air leaks. This thing is already messed up $500 steak. I don’t want any one put there money to a trash.

Needed better quality checks & attention to detail
For me the issues out weigh the benefits. I got this because I wanted a way to dry age beef that was easy and out of the box. Instead, when I first started up, it had issues with the back panel freezing up; the company came back with a fix, but I didn't hear about it until I read it on their FB group which was too late and I lost $400 worth of ribeye. Then my UV light went out and I had water freezing in the drain. That and the fan run constantly and is super loud; I had to move it to my basement. I thought this would be a "set it and forget it" device as they advertised, so far it hasn't been. Customer Service seems to be one person and she is working very hard to resolve issues that should have been figured out before they started to sell the units. I think my lesson here is to not buy a first run of a product.
