When did the type of fish change from red snapper to cod for the marine collagen?

Red snapper is farmed so u might get soy and corn enzymes in feed. Cod is wild caught. Any mercury is normally filtered out like cod liver oil.

Are the benefits of the marine collagen any different than with the regular original one?

I read that the marine collagen is also easier for the body to absorb and to me that means you are getting your money’s worth!

Does this contain ANY shellfish at all?

Not sur why you would take the word of some random person instead of going to their website and looking it up, but it says it does not.

Where is the fish sourced from?

I asked the company and they says ; Fish used for the raw material of Vital Proteins Marine Collagen are not sourced from the coast of Japan. Our raw material is obtained from wild fish stocks from the South Pacific (approximately 5000 km away from the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear plant
