XtremeAmazing Door Hinge Pins Kit 1988 2002 2 Door 4Pins Bushing Kit for 88-02 Chevy GMC GM Fullsize Truck SUV

Tried the hinge pins from Autozone, O’reilly and Napa. They were all junk. Most of the time the auto parts store bushings broke while I was putting the hinges back together. These hinge pins and bushings went right together perfectly and the door has worked great without any issues. I installed them about 3 months ago and no signs of them failing anytime soon. They have had a lot of daily use with taking kids to school and picking them up. Oh, and these were a lot less expensive than the ones I bought at the auto parts stores. Win win!

These are great. 4 bushings per door that are sized differently stick them in the freezer overnight with the pins. Make sure to Qtip clean the bores before pressing these in dry with a nut bolt and 2 washers tighten to resistance remove press and drive them flat good quality and the correct fit all around. Installed the Dorman version 6 years ago on suburban they failed 5 years ago. It only takes one to sag the door. Do replace your door spring with the dorman aand buy the spring tool.

So if you read the other reviews you'll find that people didnt pay attention to the item description. There are two different size bushings because the door pin increases in diameter at the head. Figure out which one is which before you pull your old pins. I was able to change out bushings and pins without removing the door completely. Trick is to only take the pin out of one hole on one hinge then pull the other pin hinge out use a board or floor jack to support the door and lean it back to make room to install the bushings. Remember if the bushings is too big or too small your using the wrong bushing. I swapped out the set on my drivers door in 20 min using a flat head to pull the clips and a hammer to uninstall and reinstall the pins. Do everyone a favor and dont leave uneducated or ignorant reviews. No Amazon does not pay me for my reviews. (Wish they did)

We got the driver door rehung, the kit is great! Be careful though the bushings are durable but can be broken easily as we had one break while installing it... so we didnt rehang the passenger door yet... but the driver door could not be closed so that one was first and this did the trick!

The door pins I ordered were pakcaged well as you can see. Best deal for them out there for sure. Just 2 years ago these pins were insanely high in price, cheapest I could find was 1 pin and it cost more than this kit. My only complaint would be that tracking information was messed up and I couldn't track it, which could be inconvenient if you need to be present to receive your packages. Luckily I have a lock box for packages, so it didn't cause me any issues. It turns out that I bought these unnecessarily because my pins are good, it's the spring and roller that's bent on one of my doors. Oh well I'll replace them all at once.

Not sure what alloy it is but it's much sturdier than the brass ones. The old brass replacement literally fell apart in my hand while putting it in. This one will definitely not fall apart! My truck vibrates like crazy all the time since it's so old now but these new silver rings really hold up to it and don't show any signs of slipping or cracking. Would buy again but probably won't have to do I'll just be recommending these to everyone else instead.

Ive been an automotive technician for 20 + years & this kit is by far very well built. Right away I noticed the quality of the bushings. Excellent.

Don’t recommend these at all, the fit between the pin and bushings is so sloppy I didn’t install them. Total waste of time!
