This dress is perfect in the length and I’m excited because that means I don’t have to get altered. It does not have a lining. It will have to be worn with a slip. It is super stretchy and very comfortable. It is a little tight in my shoulders, but if I would’ve got an extra large, it would have been too loose in the breast area.

I was on the hunt for a "vintage" modish looking dress, for my friends babyshower and, finding a maxi/ casual dress in the winter is extremely hard! So i was elated when I found this on amazon!! The material is a polyester spandex,so it's stretchy, but not clingy at all and I think it has something to do it the pleats and empire waste in the front (DUH! =]). It is flowy and the perfect length to make it look elegant. I'm 5'6 and it hits the floor just perfectly (want to say it's about 57-58 inches from the shoulder). I know alot of people said the white was see through, but this was not at all! it's a good thickness of fabric again perfect for winter, but honestly I think it would be good to wear in spring or summer. The color in the picture looked more mauve to me but it is a brown ladies so don't get disappointed, they do call it "latte".So I was soo conflicted on the sizee, it took me a day to decide on which size to order! But i went with the large (2) i gained a little weight around my arms and chest (36D) and I was afraid the medium might be too snug and the XL being tooo big! But I am glad with my choice for this particular style.I know the XL would have been too big. I think though If I was to order a different style I might go with a medium. This dress fits good, but there is a little extra room around the sides of my hips and the shoulders so it makes me look bigger than I am, but not a problem I can sew so I will probably take it in!

I bought this dress in white but dyed it to wear as a bridesmaid dress and everyone gave me lovely compliments!I’m 5’6” and 210 lbs in this photo, with a smaller bust (36B-C) and larger arms/hips. It was a little long but I wore heels for the ceremony so it worked out. While I am wearing a large here, I debated sending it back for a medium... my bust is small and didn’t quite fill out the dress, but my arms are bigger and I worried that the medium would be too tight. Due to time constraints, I just stuck with the large and used dress tape to make sure the bust wouldn’t move around.*FYI for DIY’ers: I needed a green dress (any shade) so I thought I could dye it... it was supposed to turn out a dark green but came out a very light sage due to polyester not taking dye well. If you need a light dress, buy dark dye - I probably could’ve kept trying to get it darker, but didn’t have time. (Luckily, the rest of the girls in the wedding party were dressed in a variety of green so I fit right in.)Overall, I am happy with this purchase!

Unfortunately this dress is see through so I had to return it

The dress is as pictured with regard to the neckline and the full skirt but in between there is a weird line, like a delineation between the top half and the bottom. It isn't particularly pretty and it isn't covered by any material at all. It's just a cheap way to sew material together, I suppose. So, if you look too closely, it's not all that attractive. But, if you look at a distance or in poor lighting, you don't see that seam line and it does the job. I need a long dress for an orchestral performance and this will do just fine. I am 5'4" and not a skinny minny at 36C and with fuller arms and a little tummy and this dress fits me perfectly in medium. The length is also perfect, just skimming the floor without shoes and with an inch clearance with my heels. Overall, it'll do!!! Material is not see through either, no slip required. I'm happy with it but not thrilled because of that weird empire waist seam that's why I gave it four stars.

I like the material and the length.

It’s really pretty however the arms are short .debating whether I want to send it back or just push the sleeves up so they look like 3/4 length . I really like the weight and material . I have a Ralph Lauren dress that this feels almost identical to.Update : i wanted to love it but I ended up sending it back because the arms were just too short . They needed to be either 1-2 inches longer or 2 inches shorter for 3/4 length sleeve .I didn’t want to spend $50 on something I wasn’t happy with .btw my Ralph Lauren dress was cheaper then this dress when it was on sale 😉 so I know I can get better for the same price .

I came across this beautiful dress and read all the reviews stating that it does run large & to buy one size smaller than your normal size. I am soo glad I did that. Normally I am a size Medium but because this dress is so flowy and only is fitted on your waist area I had a gut feeling to order a small & I did and it fit PERFECT! I’m currently 4 months pregnant & this dress makes me look so much slimmer which i love! I currently weigh 160lbs & have DD breasts & the small was perfect I do however have a much smaller waist then my hips. I’m also 5’1 and the dress is a bit long nothing unmanagable if i did wear flats, but if you wear heels itll be perfect length. The material is amazing. its not too heavy not too light. I was wearing a blue bra in these pictures and you cant even tell so i dont think you need a slip depends what kind of lighting. Also I showed how you can adjust how much clevlage youd like to show. order one size smaller than your normal!
