Defective! Rubbish!
I ordered this nutcracker to crack some pecans and thought the spring loaded nutcracker would be a good one to use. I got it only to find it did not contain a spring and would not even crack a peanut let alone a pecan. I am returning this useless hunk of metal.

Cute but doesn't really work
I so wanted this to work, but the jaws are shaped so anything smaller than a walnut can't be cracked. Also, it is somewhat heavy but the weight is in the base, not the jaws where you want it. And it is not spring-loaded. I'm returning it.

This Squirrel Bites!
This nutcracker is CUTE! But it is not functional. First 2 tries the nuts were too small, third try cracked open the nut and cracked open my hand.

More proof that this is garbage. No spring. Design that pinches horrifically. And there non slip rubber base is 100% slippery.
