Works great, cleans well, saves time
Cleaned all of the soot from my gas fireplace window with easy. Follow directions for best results. Works so well. I wish I discovered this years and years ago.

Old faithful
Have used this brand for years. Let it sit wet a little to help dissolve the tough spots. Different woods leave different levels of soot. Some easy, some harder to buff off.

Not the Same
Been using this cleaner for a number of years with good results. Eventually need to order a replacement. The original was a blue gel this new version is a tan paste - 100% different. Been using it for a few weeks and it work great. Not sure why the change but it does clean the glass. Would have been informative to indicate the change. One other minor point - original had a valve top to open to squeeze out the cleaner. The new bottle just has a cap. Replaced it with the old valve top.

disappointing results
This product leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't clean or protect the fireplace or woodstove glass as promised. I have to use bar keepers friend to clean the glass because this product won't. If it protected the glass as it says it does you would think that the glass would be easier to clean. But it's not. Don't waste your money on this "snake oil" it doesn't work.

Worked perfectly!
We had a halo of carbon/soot on the glass face of our gas fireplace. It was really ugly and interfered with the beauty of the flames. This glass cleaner worked as advertised and was easy to use. Just rub it on and buff it off with a dry paper towel. The soot halo hasn't come back!

Way superior to other products that I have used
This is far superior to Rutland Hearth and grill.. that I also purchased thru Amazon. I used a damp paper towel.. rubbed it around, then took another paper towel to clean it off. I then used another damp paper towel to wipe it again. And because the glass on my wood stove was so thick with black creosote I did a second application to make it really clean.I don't write many reviews but this product certainly deserves it...!! This bottle will probably last the entire season.We have used the Rutland products and my used would put it on the glass then scrape it off... it was very messy and time consuming....

Waste of money!
Obviously, the constituents of this product must vary widely because I found it to be absolutely useless.I immediately contacted the makers, asking for an explanation & a refund, but to date have received neither .What a waste of of money and, I see that the price has increased.A disgrace and false advertising in my opinion.J Wheeler
