Work great
These work so well we heat then in the microwave until barely soft and then carefully break into quarters. That's 4 fires per half circle. They're easy to start and burn very hot. I'd highly recommend them.

Really Work and burn clean
Like this a lot -- was given a sample years ago which never used until almost out of kindling last year because my fireplace doesn't have a grate or grill on the bottom to set this up - but once I tried it - loved it, kept the packaging, and sought the product out on here.If you do not have a grate or grill in your fireplace, you can set 3 slices of an Idaho Energy logs together and 'make' a temporary grate and it works great. Easily starts the Idaho Energy Logs(harder to get going than regular wood). I'm going to have to do the math but these might even be close to about the same cost to use as kindling. And since the newspaper keeps getting smaller, I've always got to watch how much paper I use and sometimes was using printer paper that was going to go to recycling. Plus when the paper starts the fire, the glass is all foggy from the moisture in the paper, and that isn't the case for these also - there is no moisture in these. It would be interesting to see if there was a difference in how dirty the chimney gets if I used these all season instead of what I've been doing. They say you don't need kindling or paper, that all you need is this. I find a couple small pieces of kindling and maybe 2 pieces of newspaper helpful. This cuts my use of kindling down to about 1/4 of what I was using and the newspaper down to maybe 1/10th or less of what I've been using. I have a nice energy efficient wood stove with a glass front; it and my fire-building habits are 17 years-established :).I also like that these are easier to store than kindling and if we have a nasty storm, I'm less likely to run out of supplies.

Good
It's a bit hard to light it, i'm putting small amount of paper around it, but it burns nicely and i use two for small chimney and small amount of binchotan charcoal, does the work pretty good.

Burns strong
We use these when the power goes out and we have to build a fire by hand in our fireplace to keep the house warm. They burn great but are a little hard to get started. No mess, easy option to get wood fires going strong.

Lasts
I do like that when lit, the flame lasts quite awhile so one will work. I do have to wrap it in paper to light it because it wont light on its own. But overall happy with purchase

Burn baby burn
The best natural way to start a fire. They are great if you have a large natural BBQ or are camping. We have used them in bonfires many times and it helps to get it started. If you use charcoal grills these are perfect since there are no chemicals.

I like to have little bon fires in my yard
I like to have little bon fires in my yard. Nothing major, just enough for a few hours and maybe a couple s'mores... Since it isnt anything major, I tend to have damp wood and have trouble getting fires to start. Not anymore!! These are fantastic! Light one and it may take a while but this will dry out the wood I have enough that it will eventually catch. I haven't had any problems since getting these!

Perfect for starting charcoal
We use these in our bbq chimney to start our charcoal and they work like a charm every time. Previously we were using paper but it was hit or miss, these work so much better!
