This was a blind buy when I got my first samples of cologne. It was so reasonable and well reviewed so I thought, "Why not?" This is easily one of of not my absolute favorite cologne I have, fragrance wise. My ONLY complaint is that it fades more than some others, and longevity does matter if you aren't going to carry this around at e.g. work etc. I'd describe the fragrance as leaning towards vanilla but refreshing, not heavy, with a pleasant tobacco note. Not smoke, but sweet tobacco like if you've smelled an unlit cigar, which is delicious. For the price, I couldn't recommend this enough. I've tried a number of other Cuba fragrances. Royal is fine because it's fairly close to this. Others were a disappointment, just so so. But this isn't a compromise. Give it a try. The bottle itself is also nice. Easy to hold but stands quite securely. The only thing that's chintzy is the cap, which I just set aside in the can/tube (I like to keep those for now.) I've purchased several bottles now because it's so affordable...

Insane smell it’s amazing!! It last very long and smells mature and elegant.

I don't like to overuse cologne because the scent can be overpowering and people can smell you 10 feet away so the first time I use of Cuba Gold was just a few sprays on my neck and I didn't get any compliments because I think the scent didn't last long. It's a great smelling cologne so the next the time I sprayed it on neck, wrists and some on my clothes like a body spray and the scent lasted longer and I think it was not overpowering because every female that hugged me said you smell so good and can I smell you again. It's more a like a body spray than a cologne. I'm going to order another bottle. Love the shape of the container. Just my honest opinion!

I've been using this for years. I bought some recently for my teenage grandsons, they really like it. It is not over-bearing. Just a nice subtle fragrance. The thing is; it's so reasonably priced, that if it fades, just reapply a couple of sprays, and your good to go.

My husband loves this colone. It has become his favorite. I love it as well.

I was genuinely surprised by how good Cuba Gold EDT smells for the price. The scent is smooth, sweet, warm, and masculine with notes of vanilla, lavender, and tonka bean. What impressed me most is that it smells extremely close to Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT. To my nose, it’s almost the exact same scent profile, with that classic sweet barbershop vibe that made Le Male so popular. If you’re a fan of Le Male but don’t want to spend designer-fragrance money, Cuba Gold is an incredible alternative. The cigar-shaped bottle is unique, the fragrance is versatile, and the value for money is outstanding. I’ve received several compliments wearing it, and most people would never guess how inexpensive it is. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly fragrance that delivers a scent very similar to Le Male EDT. One note: saying it’s the “exact same smell” can sometimes attract criticism from fragrance enthusiasts, so “extremely close” or “very similar” tends to sound more credible in a public review.
