It's easy to assemble and use, but it is very lightweight and flimsy. It is a little difficult to hold because of that. It doesn't hold much cheese, either. We have to reload frequently.

Not exactly precision engineered. Cheese goes everywhere, fortunately most of it hits the target. The metal is rather thin and the catch that holds the drum is tricky. BUT, it does the job and it is great to have the different grating options. I have had several different rotary graters and although this is the most difficult to use once you get use to it it works well.

We grate a lot of Parmesan cheese, and use this grater multiple times each week. The grating is perfect! It is easy to disassemble and clean. We previously had a plastic grater, which was much less accurate, and difficult to clean. Highly recommended.

I am an 82 year old male and my wife is ?? (not saying) and have been looking for the better part of our soon-to-be45 years of marriage, the perfect cheese slicer. We had doubts when we ordered this product. But our wish for a cheese grater that would really work for us has been answered. I ordered this to replace a cheese grater I used for over 5 years. Made of sturdy plastic with stainless grater, my old grater worked fine until I broke the handle. The one shipped from Amazon is flimsy, bendable, and not easy to use. It will be returned if I can. And I will shop brick and mortar for a new one.
