Interesting that the universal mounting hardware (bolts) for most all TVs in the universe,would not fit this TV. This was at first perplexing, but voila, it dawned on me, this is notyour normal TV. This TV is made in America, soooo, the mounting threads are SAE not Metric.All of the universal wall / stand mounting kits are designed to fit foreign TVs.Mike P

I don't recommend this product, which I purchased because I was worried that the DVD player I had was getting old and might break. Compared to that old machine (made in China) this system is lousy--much lower sound and not able to play DVDs that my old system can. Just tonight, I put this new system in storage because it would not play a DVD. I was furious because I knew the DVD was not damaged but this new machine wasn't able to get it to work. Sure enough, I plugged in the old DVD player and the system played the DVD right away with no problem. This Pyle system is badly engineered and produced--for example, one really has to push hard to get a DVD to go in. Frankly, it's a lousy-made machine and I recommend one purchase some other brand. Too bad. One would expect a machine made in the States to work well, but this player is a bummer.

My TV in the bedroom went up and I decided I wanted a TV with built in DVD so I can watch my favorite DVD shows without the hassle of having to hook a DVD player. Overall I really like the convenience of a built in DVD player.pros: Very good picture/ easy to switch to DVD (you just use the remote to toggle to DVD)/ has a sleep timer/ good price/ does hook up to the my Fire Stick but the Fire stick remote will not work for volume (you have to use the TV remote)cons: poor sound quality (You will need to use with a receiver to get decent sound)/ The manual on/off button is on the back of the TV (why??? It should be on the top or side. We put a felt pad on it, so we can feel for it.)/ There is a very BRIGHT green on and red off button on the front so if the TV is in your bedroom, it will illuminate it (We put tint lens over it). I get the green on button but you don't need a off button that never turns off.

Bought for DVD viewing. Out of the box ready to go. However, an example of less than ideal printed instructions state to insert the DVD in the player slot in the direction shown on the TV (case). There is no marking on the TV case indicating the correct direction. We guessed (50/50 chance) and moved on. Also found the written Instructions do not match up with the remote. Making a simple task frustrating. Pausing the DVD did not start back up where paused but started at the beginning.

Well packed, delivered on time. Picture quality not bad. Takes a little time for the picture to warm up. The sound is very low. I had to buy a sound bar to hear the TV in a small room. The sound was still somewhat low w/ the sound bar hooked up to the TV. When I hooked the sound bar directly to the cable unit, sound was good. Wouldn't buy this set w/o a sound bar or some sort of audio enhancing device.

I have this in my bedroom corner. It needs to be turned up almost to full blast to hear properly (and that's even after playing with different sound settings) so I would recommend also purchasing a sound bar or speaker system with it. The picture quality is ok, but not what I was expecting from the picture shown. Also having trouble calibrating my FireStick's remote to control the sound (without having to switch remotes), but it will play things on the FireStick at least....

There needs to be information that the product is what it is supposed to be. I bought this once already but sent it back because there was nothing in the box saying anything reference to the television like weather it was a 1080p or 720p nothing in terms of information about the product. (NOTHING)

Tv for bedroom. Very nice picture and the dvd player very convenient. Good quality!
