Will this unit work with a 1980 honda cx500 using the factory speedometer and tachometer cables?

It can plug in but the mounts are wrong and the ratios aren't correct for that bike. It won't read the rpms correctly.

Does it come with both cables

Thank you for your question, This speedometer is equipped with 2 cables
