Oxford - Heaterz Premium Adventure (Temperature controlled Motorcycle Grips)

Would easily buy again!! Without the heat these are nice motorcycle handgrips. They are wider than the last two pairs of non heated grips that I had. I had to shift the mirrors over a half inch or so to install. Lots of room for my big hands with gloves. The rubber is firm for a good controllable grip but not uncomfortable. The texture is present but not unpleasant to bare hands. The outer ends are open so I was able to reinstall my bark busters without any mods. The installation was easy but did take an hour or so. Good instructions, all parts included. The bolts were the wrong size for my dual sport but I just reused the ones on my bike for mounting the controller. I used more zip ties than they supplied to make sure the wiring stayed neat at all points. I did have to sand down the ridges on the plastic sleeve of my throttle like the instructions say to do. The super glue is runny but sets up pretty quickly. Make sure you have the position all planned because you won’t have much time to make any adjustments. During my 20 mile test ride I rode with lightweight gloves and the setting on 1 (which was plenty) and 2 (which wasn’t too much). The heat starts very quickly. The control buttons are easy to operate with one gloved hand while riding.

These were so good, I bought a second set for my other bike. They are a comfortable grip, with great warming ability. I never need the highest setting because they get very warm! On one bike, I've put nearly 10 thousand miles and they still look great, not warn out. I especially like that they have the ability to turn themselves off, because it's easy to forget. These wont kill your battery and will keep you toasty and expand your riding season.

What can I say, I was a purist. After the longest winter of my life, I started looking for ways to extend my riding season. These grips run very warm, definitely help with the ride. The top of your hands will still get cold, but it's much better than nothing. I actually pair these with some thinner summer gloves because the heat conducts much more readily than through some thick winter gloves. I think the ideal pairing would be these grips, summer gloves, and some sort of cover like hippo hands or something. Install was easy, though the glue on one of the grips came loose. I just used some extra superglue. Could have been an issue with my installation. Still, 5 out of 5

Absolutely love how warm these get. I have paired these with oxford super muffs for my winter commute. My biggest gripe with these is the install. It sticks out a little too far and i cant trim anymore off throttle side. Now my throttle is a little sticky. Overall these are still a game changer and extend my riding to year round.

Mounted these on my 99 GL1500 SE. (Goldwing) These work well. have a slightly larger diameter than stock which is nice. I no longer get a numb feeling in my hands after 1/2 hour. They heat well, don't appear to drain battery at all. Only problem is the glue they include is garbage. Used gorilla glue after grip glue failed. its perfect. I don't like the positioning of the connectors. They reach just to the top of the triple tree where there's greater chance of wear damage. Hasn't been a problem so far but every add-on the runs a cable across the top makes it a little less responsive and harder to turn. I mounted my controller on the dash so I had to make an extension cable.

Easy install, hardest part is getting the old ones off. It's best to prepare the surface once you get the old ones off, then use a lot of the glue. I ran wire straight to battery without any issue on 2017 Honda Africa Twin. The heat is distributed evenly accross the grips and gets really how quickly. For $65.00 its a no brainer. The cntrl. mounted easy to the bark buster mounting bracket. The auto shutoff also works nice if you forget to turn them off.

Work great, this is the second motorcycle I had them installed on....helps because I usually have more time to ride when colder.

Sold my last bike with the Oxfords on it. New bike won’t be ridden until the Oxfords are installed. Easy to install and in my opinion the gold standard of heated grips. Excellent heat production and the auto shut off is a huge bonus. I’d recommend these to anyone.

This for perfectly. Work well and were easy to install. After a year of use they continued to work as expected.

Finding a place to put all the extra length of wiring was a challenge. However, the installation was fairly easy. I'm excited for riding on the cold but dry days throughout our south-west-coast winter here in Canada. We get a lot of good riding days and my hands are going to be frozen any more

Product arrived on time and was as described

The product was great at first, but it is already broken. When you go to the support button on the item, it takes you to the oxford website when you contact oxford, they say to contact the vendor you bought it from for replacement, and the vendor does not have a button for that they only send you to the oxford website, which is not helpful. Recommend you buy this from a real vendor instead. That has support for when it breaks. If the vendor somehow reaches out to me and makes this better. I will correct the review, but if not and this review is still up. Then you can assume that this is a terrible place to buy from and not recommended.
