I have a favorite recipe that calls for putting the pan in the oven for the last 8 minutes. Once it was out of the oven, I absent-mindedly grabbed the handle to adjust for serving the food, and burned my hand. Ouch.Got these to at least remind me that the pan handle is hot in those circumstances. That helps - but if you're putting the pan the in oven, make sure to still use a pot holder when removing it from the oven.... the heat of the handle still comes through the silicon. They are great on the stove top, especially when running additional burners, and the handle might be hot from a neighboring burner.

I have some stainless steel enclosed kabob units for use on the grill. They are nice units but the handles are metal and you can imagine how hot they get. These fit perfectly over the handles and solve my problem! They shield me from the hot handle, give me a secure grip on my kabob baskets and pop in the dishwasher for cleaning (in a basket I use for small items, also purchased from Amazon). I couldn't be happier with these handle sleeves!

I bought these to protect my hand from the pan with a metal handle. They are great except *WHY* put a little hole in the handle just where you rest your thumb? You know that what's on the other side is hot - and yes I burned myself.I cut off the open end and now all is well - works on my pan with a shorter handle.

For my pans the opening on these holders is just a bit too big. Makes it a bit awkward to grip if I'm actually trying to pick up and move the pans around. Heat resistance seems good, I can't fault that at all. Fortunately for me I wasn't buying these so much to help grip to move around as I was to stick on to be a "warning" than the handle was hot. They definitely do the trick for that job, and don't waste an oven mitt that I usually need for some other task.

I have a variety of cookware, both stainless and cast iron. These grips were quite loose making it quite easy to slip and lose control of a hot pan. Admittedly, because of the fit issue I sent them back immediately after testing the fit so they could be returned in new condition without actually being used.

The only thing that I disliked about this product is the fact that it is difficult to clean. They were recommended to me from a friend and I have enjoyed using them because they are very heat resistant. I am not sure how long they will last but I would definitely buy again because the cost is so low.

They're quite stiff, and so do not lend well to a great grip. Would be better if they squished to grab on to a handle

covers are not very heat resistant. they are loose on my pan handles and therefore I do not feel secure in moving the pan off the stove.

I work in a restaurant. We have some some amazing pans, but we had stopped using them. We cook on propane burners and the handles would end up heating to the point of burning our hands. I ordered this item and all of is love them. You can feel that the handle has heated up, however, you can use them without burning/hurting yourself. I would definitely recommend this item. Both quality and price are great!
