This attachment seems to heavy duty and is made of tough plastic. It fits very well on a 1 7/8 inch hose.It is about 10.5 inches long with a reach into small places of 5 inches. I think it will reach anything in my car. I recommend this attachment. I am always surprised that they don't give a better description when they are trying to sell an item. I hope this helps someone. The brush bristles on this attachment are too weak. There's a protruding plastic cylinder inside the brush part to keep the bristles from being sucked in... that's typical for these types of brushes... but because the bristles are so weak the cylinder has to stick out way too far, so you just barely press this brush against any surface and the cylinder part "bottoms out".These 1-7/8" attachments are just the right size... I wish there were more options available. I would recommend getting Ridgid's version of this brush, but it may be made in the same factory, so Ridgid's brush may be just as cheap... "Ridgid" is made by Emerson and it seems to be mostly Home Depot's house brand... I will swing by there and check the quality and report back...

I recently purchased a DeWalt wet/dry vac for my home. I has a 1 7/8" diameter hose. It came with a crevice and flat tool for floors. It also came with two plastic hose extensions. Only thing it was missing was a dusting attachment.The Craftsman work perfectly with my Dewalt vac. No complaints. :)

Wasn't sure if this would fit because we have a Stanley rather than Craftsman wet/dry vac. The Stanley came w/some attachments that didn't include a dusting brush, something we use a lot. Our old vac's brush didn't fit & we couldn't find the right size locally, so took a chance & ordered this. Fits perfectly & we're very pleased w/the brush itself & overall order process.

I bought this Utility Nozzle to try to clean up drywall dust and sanding dust from a remodel project. I had tried at least 6 other attachments before I finally found this one. No attachment will make a 5 gallon Rigid shop vac as effective as a standard home vacuum at picking dust off the floor; but this attachment is the best that I have found for the job. I don't want to ruin my home vac, so I tried every tool that HD sold for the Rigid and was unimpressed with any of them. I also tried several others from Amazon. Again, I was unimpressed....until I attached this tool. Please keep in mind, this Utility tool does work most effectively when the shop vac filter is NOT overly clogged. Drywall and sanding dust will clog a filter and cause it to need replacement. Be sure to keep the filter clear for most effective use of your shop vac!

Upon looking at several other brands I was needing one with just the brush end attachment and not a set of several attachments since the vacuum comes with several already but not a brush head. Most all the others do not fit the VacMaster Professional Beast (5 gallon 5.5 HP) BUT this one does. It does an excellent job and stays attached to the hose perfectly. The only drawback is it is made thicker than VacMaster attachments (which is good I guess) but it does not fit onto the sweeper attachment holder due to edge being thicker than the holder will allow. I am very pleased and it works great with the VacMaster Professional Beast sweeper.

Awesome brush, fit my Bauer brand vacuum hose perfectly!!! We live near the beach, and sand gets in the car regularly. This brush helped clean up months of sand so easily from the carpet and seats!! The bristles are fairly soft and flexible, just want to point that out. That's not a problem for what I need it for and the price, but if you need hard sturdy bristles, this isn't it.

I bought this to use while cleaning my truck with my Ridgid 5-gallon wet/dry vac, and although it's a Craftsman product it is compatible with the Ridgid hoses. Does not feel cheap, the attachment is made of strong plastic and seems like it will last a long time.
