Misuse of normal optical equipment. 40 x 60 should normally mean 40 x magnification 60mm objective lens referring to field of view. I have no idea what the sellers intend these to be but they are not x 40 as they admit in the reviews. Bought on the hurry up due to Black Friday without reading the reviews. They are crap. Seem like x2 magnification to me, might be a little more. The supplied tripod would blow away in the wind, cheap plastic. the glass appears inferior but having said that, for the amateur, casual user, probably worth £22. Not for me though, I thought I was getting 40x. Furthermore, box had already been opened, as seen from the packaging. Returning

Bought this for my sisters 12th birthday and she absolutely loves it. I had a go at it and for the price it is great, very clear image and good zoom. It is smaller than i imagined but perfect size for taking with you out and about. Shes been using it for her bird watching and she is excited. It comes in a little case which makes it brilliant for travelling with too.

bought this for spotting when out shooting its a handy tool and light enough to carry around does come with a lot of accessories which you need to carry separately if you wish

Nice light and easy to use when relaxing, one handed pick-up and focus , no need to put your drink down! Not used the mobile phone attachment included yet.

This binocular has no make or model reference, is instructions are a water of written words, and the cleaning cloth it mentions attached was not included.There's a few attachment but you have you figure them out to use with the item.It's ok for my use, but the tripod( approx 8 inches high extended - and plastic) is very light - needs to be more sturdier

This was ordered for my son who's very happy with it. Very simple to use (compared to a complicated larger telescope we had) and gives and nice sharp image. He's delighted. it is compact and lightweight. The only thing I've not tried is connecting my phone screen to it.

Great little spotting telescope for looking at things in the distance and for gazing at the moon and stars. Comes with some accessories including a mobile phone mount so I can take pictures easily if what the telescope sees in the sky on its own little tripod. Great value for money.

Unfortunately I had to return this product because it is really awful.To be honest I don't understand the good reviews this product has received. I ask myself if this people receive something different from what I received.
