Bang on for bird watching

*UPDATE*Im sorry to have to review my review! But after a week the phone holder has broken. I think the plastic is so weak and cheap. Its a shame as I like the item but I wanted a monocular with a phone attachment. Think Im just going to spend extra with a named brand-------------------Seems ok for basic use but maybe not for advanced use. The clip for the phone is good, you do need to zoom the phone camera to get the full picture. Tripod is reasonable, seems stable except the legs spread, unless I've missed how to stop this! Plus you get 2 tripods included.I always think its a shame though with rubbish and poorly translated instructions! I think if I was seeing into a foreign market I'd pay to get it done properly so it looks more professional and inspires confidence!

Bought this for my sisters 12th birthday and she absolutely loves it. I had a go at it and for the price it is great, very clear image and good zoom. It is smaller than i imagined but perfect size for taking with you out and about. Shes been using it for her bird watching and she is excited. It comes in a little case which makes it brilliant for travelling with too.

Not at all bad for the money.

This was ordered for my son who's very happy with it. Very simple to use (compared to a complicated larger telescope we had) and gives and nice sharp image. He's delighted. it is compact and lightweight. The only thing I've not tried is connecting my phone screen to it.

This binocular has no make or model reference, is instructions are a water of written words, and the cleaning cloth it mentions attached was not included.There's a few attachment but you have you figure them out to use with the item.It's ok for my use, but the tripod( approx 8 inches high extended - and plastic) is very light - needs to be more sturdier

A good starter scope. It's easy to use, lightweight and gives a good magnification which enables you to see the detail clearly. Good value for money and I would buy one again.

Misuse of normal optical equipment. 40 x 60 should normally mean 40 x magnification 60mm objective lens referring to field of view. I have no idea what the sellers intend these to be but they are not x 40 as they admit in the reviews. Bought on the hurry up due to Black Friday without reading the reviews. They are crap. Seem like x2 magnification to me, might be a little more. The supplied tripod would blow away in the wind, cheap plastic. the glass appears inferior but having said that, for the amateur, casual user, probably worth £22. Not for me though, I thought I was getting 40x. Furthermore, box had already been opened, as seen from the packaging. Returning
