Linen Summer Beanie for Men & Women

My son has very long curly hair and often wears caps like this, he said that some of the ones he currently has were getting to be a little bit too hot for the springtime, so I researched and found this one and ordered it for him for his birthday. When he put it on he immediately said "oh yeah", he said you can't even feel it on your head, it's very comfortable and cool for the summer weather. It is not thick at all. I will read the instructions before we wash it and let you know later how it turned out. Edit: since he liked it so much I have purchased a second one to add to his birthday bag for June.

Like others, I saw lots of other much cheaper lids. I thought this one seemed a bit unique because it claiming to be so lightweight, so I took a shot on it. And I'm glad I did. It really does seem very well made -- it's absolutely lightweight, and you barely realize you're wearing it. That make it really comfortable, and at least for me, it never gets too hot. (I suppose it does provide some degree warmth, more than going without a hat, but I wouldn't wear it snowboarding or anything.) And even though it's a really loose weave (that's a term, right?) it hasn't gotten stretched out -- it still fits fine. So overall, IMHO it seems like it's just as advertised and high quality.

It is beyond difficult to find a beanie hat for summer. It must be thin, must be linen, and must be high quality lest I sweat all over the place and end up using it to mop my brow (and that would be an expensive mop!) This is ideal, made with precision and zero hanging threads, and cool as can be

Disappointing. Maybe you can catch a fish with this thing bc it’s more a fishing net than a beenie. No shape to it, very loose even for my large head. Completely see through so you can see your forehead. Sadly no redeeming quality whatsoever.

I needed a very light mesh beanie to wear in summertime. This one is one light weave layer only, very light, and has excellent air flow. I wore it for a few days and was happy with it except for the extra length of the hat. Later my friends strongly hinted that the color and extra length of it were not appropriate and I should no longer wear it. I am wording this very carefully by the way. Someone else in the reviews had a better analogy which I won’t repeat here.

I bought this for sleeping so my curly hair doesn't get pulled out by my CPAP machine. It works and it is very comfortable. My husband saw me with it on and assumed I was just looking cool, until I told him I was trying to look like a cool version of a Victorian Jacob Marley. I measured my head based on the measurements given and my head was right in the middle, but it is still a loose fit. I think it stays on because I have long curly hair. I am happy with it. I put it in a garment bag to wash it and it does shrink a little. Linen is a natural fabric and so can be washed and may shrink a bit overtime.

I've been using this hat for a few months now. I work in assembly in an incredibly hot plant for one of the big 3. It has been extremely helpful in keeping my hair out of my face and still be super breathable. I wear it every day, even out of work, and it is surprisingly durable. I've not had any loose threads that weren't my fault. It's incredibly soft after you wear it in, and if you are worried about concealing headphones in such a thin material. It works, especially with the darker color one. If I had to say one slight drawback it's that after so much use it isn't very tight anymore. This could just be because I have a big head and a lot of hair, but even then it isn't a huge problem. It is worth the buy imo.

Prefer to not have a front or back to the hat, so I removed the branding. Metal tab is sewn into the fabric, and the metal itself needs to be cut to remove it instead of cutting a thread.
