Does the set material have a bad taste?

Once it cures there is no bad taste, actually no taste at all.

Does the pink color eventually fade?

No, it remains pink, the same as a dentist would use, great stuff, just follow the directions.

Does it burn your mouth while impression is hardening?

Yes, it will burn oral tissues. It is better to use on a stone model made from the persons impression. After it hardens you can trim and polish. Then put into the mouth.
