A great remembrance of New York
My husband accidently broke our (what I believe to be a) Kurt Adler ornament that we had purchased at the South Street Seaport in NYC around Christmastime in 2001. As you know it was a devastating year for New York and the rest of the country, and it was a reminder to us of how beautiful New York is and could be again. We had the year "2001" put on the ornament by the shop that sold it to us. I cringed when the ball broke and wanted to replace it. This ornament I believe is the exact replacement, and it, like New York City, is dazziling! Thank you, Amazon, for making this ornament available to us.

Looks fine, isn't quite as fancy as I thought the pic looked though
It's an ornament, and it's nice. Not quite as nice as the photo but it looks good and isn't all chipped or anything. My only real gripe here is the packaging they chose to ship with. This ornament arrived in a large envelope, and inside was a completely disassembled cheap plastic box with no foam or paper or anything to help protect it. I'm really lucky this thing wasn't smashed or dented, or I'd be returning it.
