Noiseless Tremolo Springs Red - Heavy Duty Electric Guitar Bridge (FRTSNRDP)

For nostalgic reasons I used these as a last ditch attempt to make my first guitar playable. The action was far too high and the tremolo very unstable, after nearly 40 years the original springs were way past their best, not that they were ever up to much as on all 80s budget guitars. Was sceptical that it would work, even though in theory it would. The end result was amazing. Tuning stability is there and the action is low and fast. Plays better than ever almost on a par with my other considerably more costly instruments from two well known US brands.

Very strong, keeping the FR in its correct position & I can safely / easily tune the 10 gauge guitar strings.

Neat stiff pink, ahem, and overpriced as Floyd products usually are, the paint powder coat will come off as you secure it to the block or claw but the rest of the spring remains pink so it’s peachy really

They do their job of being noiseless but you can see that whatever polymer they use has some areas that has worn off even before use. But one thing the manufacturer hasn't taken into account or should warn the buyers is that if you install them without taking off the polymer a bit one of the springs, on the contact points with the trem block and the trem claw, you're breaking off the grounding of the bridge and basically have a super noisy guitar. Easy fix but something they should have considered when manufacturing.

Los muelles ofrecen una tensión extra sobre los muelles originales de los sistemas Floyd Rose. En mi caso los he utilizado para subir de calibre de un 09-42 a un 11-52 en una Ibanez Iron Label (puente Edge Zero 2) sustituyendo 2 de los muelles originales por estos. En el caso de una Jackson Dinky (puente Floyd Rose Licensed by Jackson) los utilicé para subir de calibre 09-42 a 10-46, para lo cual necesité sustituir 2 de los muelles por estos y quitar el tercer muelle original de Jackson.

Plus court que des fender classiques, j'en avait besoin suite au montage d'un régleur de tensions Schaller.. fonctionne parfaitement.

I used these to update my Squier trem. I wanted it docked and secure against the body. These are strong springs. I took off the paint on the ends with an utility knife to ensure it is grounded properly.

Massive upgrade from my old "springs" that could no longer hold on. Sounds good to me and leveling was pretty easy.
