Lovely book to have by your side on a mellow evening, with Jimbo's music playing on loop. I love how they have included bits of the original manuscript, and published the whole thing, mistakes and all.

Great book interesting poetry

I thought the book was great and it really gives you an insight of Jim's mind, however, I feel like it would be better if I was stoned or drunk. Either way, I liked.

I've always liked Jim's Poetry, I'm no expert but he does have a way of conjuring different pictures in your head with some beautiful imagery.With this book, okay I have seen and heard probably about half, either through Doors lyrics or the American Prayer, but hey it's good to see some of these poems extended. The Paris stuff is pretty good and pretty dark.So I think if you're a fan of Jim's buy it, if you love the Doors buy it, if you love poetry that's a bit different then you should buy it. I loved it.
