Journey Sheet Music Selections from the Original Video Game Soundtrack: Piano Solos

Beautiful timing! My son was trying to figure out JOURNEY music on the piano when the knock on the door came from Amazon Prime Delivery. He was dumbfounded. Beautiful arrangements!

Journey's soundtrack is, by far, my favorite video game music ever. When "Transfiguration" was released, which is a recording of these arrangements, I learned how faithful and complex this book actually is to the music and bought it immediately.So go listen to Transfiguration. Hear how these arrangements are not simplifications of the melody over some generic baseline, like so many piano arrangements are. They're not transpositions into easier keys or truncated for simplicity. They're real pieces which are truly designed to sound good on piano.But beware, Unlike most arrangements, these are actually quite difficult. Nascence is easy enough, but the other five are intermediate to advanced. I've seen classical works rated for 10+ years of experience easier than these Journey arrangements, and that's kind of awesome.

If you've heard the Journey music you know exactly what I mean - it's hard, but it's worth it. Listen to the sountrack on youtube and then buy this, learn it, and impress all of your friends - or enjoy it for yourself. It's an amazing sountrack and the transposition to piano was done perfectly. I haven't gotten them all down yet, but I can't wait!

These are very nice--definitely advanced arrangements. Most of them are quite long--between 8-10 pages. I bought this for a student, and while he is a late intermediate player, these will take him a bit of time to learn. I have enjoyed going through them myself, but don't think I will come across many students who will benefit from these.

These are very beautiful, moving songs.This is the piano sheet music for the "Transfiguration" EP that was released shortly after the original soundtrack. It has all 6 songs from Transifiguration, and it's exactly what you hear on that album - not an "easy piano" version. That said, they're certainly not easy to play, but worth the effort and practice.

Excellent piano transcription of Austin Wintory's soundtrack to Journey. While I have not played the game, I enjoy the soundtrack. The music itself is clearly printed and very easy to read.

Stunning music, my son requested it. My hub and I enjoy it just as much.

Bought this for my girlfriend who is learning piano and loves the soundtrack and she is playing and loves this. Not for buyers: Only comes with six sheet music pieces from the original soundtrack.

En terme de contenu, si vous aimez les musiques de Journey ainsi que leurs arrangements piano, il n'y a rien à redire.En revanche pour la qualité du produit en lui-même, on pourrait lui reprocher son format un peu grand qui ne rentre pas dans toutes les bibliothèques, ou encore la pauvreté du livre: des feuilles grand format pliées en deux et tenues par quelques agraffes. On a pas besoin de beaucoup plus, c'est le contenu l'important. Ok. Mais quand même. L'avantage à cela est le petit prix, de quoi consoler un peu l'acheteur avide de pièces de collection.

Good product, the transcripts are well done although the original score is not necessarily for piano. Love Austin Wintory work
