this series of hemi rams is the worst ever location for the oil filter
so much better than other filter options -- that end grippy texture makes all the difference in the world trying to get a filter on or off a 2020 Ram hemi 4x4 -- panicked for a minute when threads didn't start 1st 2 tries... 3rd try she grabbed and spun on easily!

Never fails quality
Fram has made quality filters as long as I have been driving. They are solid and tough on the outside, and the synthetic filters are the best going. I've not had any complaints and you can certainly spend more for filters. Always fit perfectly, no leaks, and never seize up. My only question is why Fram doesn't make an oversized filter for vehicles when possible. Many of the newer cars and trucks have a tiny filter to fit in their design because of the narrow clearance, but they could make them a little longer and still fit, providing extra filtering surface.

Bottom grip, quality filter, anti drain back for start ups. Good filter for Ram trucks as they have a issue with getting oil to the upper lifter hence the hemi tick.
