After 4 antennas that I couldn’t get tuned and had no radio transmissions.. I got this one, put it together and worked great!! Getting transmissions 4-5 miles out.. couldn’t be happier.

Very decent antenna with decent grade coax. Works well over SSB and have managed to get some pretty far away contacts with it. The magnet is also strong enough to actually stay on during highway driving!

I would buy again.

Two points of adjustment to tuneStrong magnetGood cord lengthGood transmit and reception for its sizeThis antenna was easy to tune being able to adjust on either side of the center coil. Top side the antenna slides up or down. Bottom side you can turn it a few turns higher or lower. The included allen wrench doesn't seem the correct fit for the set screws. If you don't have another it will work, just don't over tighten. I had also read some reviews about the spring rusting so I put a few light coats of plastidip over the entire antenna and base after I had it tuned correctly. Hopefully this will buy some time before the antenna rusts or the plastic base cracks from the sun.Good deal!

Extremely high SWR #’s because of a faulty coax with with unrepairable connector and connection at base. Customer services solution was for ME to possibly shorten and repair the bad connection! Didn’t think I had to repair a new item before using it. Now instead of a refund they will send out another (possibly bad) antenna as a different solution. Unacceptable !!!Buyer beware !! Pick another antenna !!Update. They sent out a replacement antenna. The new one works ok. Doesn’t transmit far but at least it receives and doesn’t blow my final with a high SWR.

Worked well on my trip. No wind noise. Held tight. Good reception.

Ok I bought this because I got a new set up I tuned it to my truck roof swr is good but if you bearly tap the antenna swr goes up. You can check it 5 mins later or what it will still be high. Cheap antenna what can you ask for. So I got it in my barn for emergency. I’m in Indiana and when I was trying it out on my base station I got out to Kentucky with it but you won’t get a good signal with this antenna doesn’t matter where you put it. I tried my 20ft antenna I bought on here for $109 I think the brand is HYRA?? Somthing like that if your going for a base station don’t mess around get that one me and my grandfather use those and talk 20 miles away. I can reach Michigan, Texas Ohio ect… if your going for a car mount. Little will does the job. But if I can I would give this a 0 outta 10 stars and no it’s not my first time I’ve been in cb for a hot minute now.
