Surprisingly light in the hand and most importantly, it throws out a powerful beam. For me this signals the end of handlamps using heavy and expensive 6v batteries. All things considered this is an impressive flashlight. I know it is a little expensive but it is probably worth the money.

I love everything about this torch , it’s very bright but if you don’t need it quite so bright there’s a setting for that . It charges easily and stays charged for a long time . The reason I chose it was for its light weight and it is brilliant . Would buy again .

There seem to be a lot of these torches under different listings that look identical; I only have one so don't know if the seemingly identical actually are. I bought sold by ALFLASH and dispatched by Amazon. Pleased so far with this torch. It is lightweight with a good sized hand grip. The carrying strap is very useful as its intended use but I also use it to hang the torch on a peg inside the understair door so that it is always in a place where I can reach for it if we have a power cut. Super bright white light that on the low setting is really useful for shining into those dark corners indoors such as the far end of the understairs or floor level behind furniture. The high setting I find is too strong for indoors but great for going down the garden on very over cast nights and to illuminate dark sheds and garages. I don't know how robust the casing would be for outdoors if dropped as the black parts are a hard plastic. That isn't a problem for me as I don't intend the torch for rough use . The torch has a wide bright spread with a central brighter spotlight type of beam. This central spotlight type of beam can't be turned off so far as I can see. I find the central spotlight type of beam isn't really what I want or need and would prefer just a uniform single beam but I think there may be some uses for it. Maybe I will get used to it. It comes with two USB lights. These are the size and shape of a small USB data stick. They just plug into a USB socket (there is one on the torch) and don't have on/off switches themselves. I haven't had the torch long enough or used it enough to say whether the battery life is up to specification in use, nor how many charges the battery will take before losing capacity to hold the charge.

The main beam on this goes a ridiculous distance, even on the low power mode. I bought this for dog adventures during winter nights, and this has been doing a fantastic job. The shoulder strap is great, basically making this hands free. It's also definitely water proof and has survived rain and mud. Well worth the money I would say.

This is the second one I have bought. The first is still working perfectly and I use it when making my way around my long dark garden in the winter to go to the shed etc. Friends have ordered their own from Amazon after seeing mine in use. It has also been very useful btw when teaching my grandchildren about the stars. You can get a good trace of the beam and easily point out Orion’s Belt etc. My niece and family have move from the town to ‘the country’ and are having to get used to no street lights and darkness so I bought this for them as part of a housewarming package. It is easy to charge up by the included USB lead and then hang by the back door for nighttime outings. I also didn’t realise, but very much appreciate, the bonus of two small low usb bulbs for reading in the tent etc.

Haven't had time to use it fully so don't know about battery life, hence only 4 stars. However, seems to work OK and is nice and bright. The two addition plug in bulbs are a useful bonus when you don't need glaring bright light.

When I opened the package I thought that this was going to be a piece of junk because it was so lightweight. I charged it up with the USB. (Cannot for the life of me understand why other reviews have had difficulty with this). That night I took my dog for a walk and Wow! X2 options of light strength. But let’s face it, I only had it on full strength. I walk a long a sea front with miles of open space. I pointed the torch across the bay and was amazed that I could actually see a white building per 900 meters away (I know because I measured it later). Realistically though, the torch is excellent for up to 200m, good for 300m and then after that, just a vague light. I am still astonished by the power of this torch. I am however worried about dropping it. The fact that it really really lightweight is excellent, but it does make me think that it won’t survive a drop to concrete. Time will tell I guess. The torch also comes with a strap, which again for me is prefect. Can walk with it over the shoulder leaving both hands free. Also included were x2 little USB lights. You can plug into the back of the torch for a small amount of light, which I guess would be good for camping. If you get stuck, you can also charge your phone from the USB in the back of the torch. Not much use to me for dogging, but hey, perfect if your out camping. Also, if you shine up into the sky, its like you’re calling for Batman:)

When you get this torch you won't believe the beam, it's amazing, the light it sheds and the distance it reaches. Epic. Unless you have very special needs it will do you proud. The battery lasts for ages too However there is a big downer. One modest drop from about 2 feet seemed to have done relatively little damage despite the light, thin, hard plastic. - but having recharged beautifully before now it didn't want to know. The torch is left as a useless lump of junk. Really disappointing, a torch that works this well deserves to be put together more robustly and preferably have some rubber amour at the main bounce points. Performance wise it would get a 5, but a torch that only lasts a few weeks doesn't justify the cost - or any cost - or any stars. Sorry but go buy something more robust and preferably rubber coated. If you're out and about in the dark you don't want your torch to let you down. You couldn't trust this one. Brightness great. Battery life seemed good but it really isn't if it won't recharge after a few weeks. Lightweight - well much too lightweight. Poor, fragile construction makes it unbfit for purpose and completely ruins a good light. DON'T BUY.
